Sat, 1st Aug 2015 We are pleased to announce that in the middle of August the 24 year-old Portuguese golfer Ricardo Gouveia from Lisbon moved into 119th place in the World Rankings. This is the highest position that any Portuguese golfer has ever attained since World Golf Rankings came into existence. |

Laranjal Sat, 1st Aug 2015 Sixteen year old Joao Girao won the McGinley Junior Cup at Quinta do Lago Laranjal Course with a two-under-par round of 70. He was also presented with a wild-card for the 2015 BMW Junior Championship taking place on the North Course in October |

Penina Championship Sat, 1st Aug 2015 86 golfers participated in an event on the Penina Championship Course on August 15th which was followed by a gala dinner and raising a total of just under €10,000 for local charities. |

Monte Rei Sat, 1st Aug 2015 Over 80 golfers participated in the Monte Rei Course Charity Tournament on the 28th of August raising over € 7.000. The winner was Hassan Dahabiyeh with Jacques Bonneval second. |

Vale da Pinta Sat, 1st Aug 2015 On the 25th August the Rhiannon Trophy was held on the Pinta course in Carvoeiro with 100 participants. Job van Dalen won the day with 445 points with Gillian Duplessis taking second place. This is a special Trophy to raise funds to assist a child with special needs. |

Sat, 1st Aug 2015 Shane Lowry - (Ireland) WGC - Bridgestone Invitational Firestone - Akron - USA - 6th to 9th August 2015 With two strokes in hand Irish golfer Shane Lowry beat Bubba Watson from the USA to win this important Trophy This is his third win on the Tour and he moved into 22nd position in the World Ranking and 6th place in the Race to Dubai. |

Sat, 1st Aug 2015 Jason Day - (Australia) USA PGA Championship Whistling Straits - Kohler - Wisconsin - USA - 13th to 16th August 2015 Australian golfer Jason Day claimed victory from American golfer Jordan Spieth by three strokes in this outstanding Masters event. It was also his third win on the Tour. Jason Day moved into 3rd place in the World Rankings. |

He moved to 161st place in the World Rankings and to 56th position in the Race to Dubai. |

He moved to 141st place in the World Rankings to 53rd position in the Race to Dubai. |
