Challenge Tour - Pedro Figueiredo

Lisbon young golfer Pedro Figueiredo gained his maiden Challenge Tour win in the KPMG Trophy held in Belgium from the 7th to the 10th of June. He was involved in a three way play-off against Anton Karlsson from Sweden and Stuart Manley from Wales. Pedro Figueiredo moved to 384th place in the World Rankings and 12th position in the Challenge Tour Rankings. |
European Tour - Brooks Koepka
Mon, 18th Jun 2018 US Open - Shinnecock Hills - Southampton - New York - USA - 14th to 17th June, 2018. History was made in the US Open when Brooks Koepka made a back-to-back win which was the first time that a Major was successfully defended since Curtis Strange in 1989. Brooks won by one stroke from England's Tommy Fleetwood, and with USA Dustin Johnson taking third place just one stroke further back. This was Brooks Koepka third success on the Tour and placed him 4th in the World Rankings. |
European Tour - Mikko Korhonen
Mon, 11th Jun 2018 Shot Clock Masters - Diamond - Atzenbrugg - Vienna - Austria - 7th to 10th June, 2018. Finnish golfer Mikko Korhonen romped home in Vienna with a six stroke advantage over his nearest rival, Connor Syme from Scotland, In third place was Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts. With this maiden win on the Tour he moved to 110th position on the World Rankings and 35th place in the Race to Dubai. |
European Tour - Thorbjorn Olesen
Mon, 4th Jun 2018 Italian Open - Gordagolf - Brescia - Italy - 31st to 3rd June, 2018. Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen claimed his fifth victory on the Tour when he be finished one stroke less than his nearest rival home grown Francisco Molinari. In third position and one stroke more was England's Lee Slattery. Thorbjorn Olesen moved into 75th place in the World Ranking and 6th position in the Race to Dubai. |
