The JJW Hotel & Resorts Group held their first annual JJW Cup over two days. The winners were Jose Valente and Rosangela Gois. Next year the tournament will be staged on the 27th and 28th of October, 2018.

Seventy international members of the EDGA participated in this important event. Belgium's Adem Wahbi was the final winner with two Englishmen, George Groves and Kevin Harmison tied for second place.

The Championship was won by a 14 year old golfer named Max Hopkins. He posted scores of 71, 72 and 71 beating his nearest competitor Ben Jones by three strokes.

Spanish golfer Jon Rahm claimed the coveted World Championship in Dubai by one stroke advantage against a challenging field. In equal second place was Ireland's Shane Lowry and Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat. Four players tied for three place, Dean Burmester, Dylan Frittelli, Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose. This was the second won on Tour for Jon Rahm and he moved to 4th position in the World Rankings.

South African Branden Grace gained his 8th Tour win in his home country by finishing one stroke less than Scott Jamieson from Scotland. One stroke further back was France's Victor Dubuisson. Branden Grace now claimed 8 Tour wind and moved to 29th place in the World Rankings and 9th in the Race to Dubai.

In Turkey the English golfer Justin Rose repeated his victory of the previous week by beating both Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts by and South African Dylan Frittelli by one stroke. This win took Justin Rose to a total of 10 wins on the Tour, 6th place in the World Rankings and remaining 2nd in the Race to Dubai.
