Jon Rahm from Spain claimed the important title of being the World Tour Champion which he added to his five European Tour wins. Jon Rahm on the final day led the field ending with one less stroke to his nearest rival Tommy Fleetwood from England. With only one more stroke Mike Lorenzo-Vera from France finished in third place. With this win Jon Rahm moved to third position in the World Rankings. |
European Tour - Tommy Fleetwood
Mon, 18th Nov 2019 Gary Player Challenge - Sun City - South Africa - 14th to 17th of November, 2019. South African Tommy Fleetwood claimed his fifth title on the European Tour in South Africa when he won in a play-off against Sweden's Marcus Kinhult. Tommy Fleetwood moved to 18th place in the World Rankings and 2nd in the Race to Dubai. In third place only two stokes more were Thomas Detry, Jason Scrivener and Bernd Wiesberger. |
Challenge Tour - Francesco Laporta
Mon, 11th Nov 2019 Challenge Tour Grande Final - Alcanada - Port d'Alcudia - Mallorca - Spain - 7th to 10th of November, 2019. The Challenge Tour Grande Final that took place on Mallorca was won by Francisco Laporta from France's Robin Sciat-Siegrist and Germany's Sebastian Heisele. This gave Francisco Laporta his second win on the Challenge Tour and moved him to 117th place in the World Rankings. |
European Tour - Tyrell Hatton
Mon, 11th Nov 2019 Turkish Open - Montgomerie Maxx Royal - Antalya - Turkey - 7th to 10th of November, 2019. In a very competitive six player play-off on the final day Tyrell Hutton from England was the victor to win the title. The other five players were Benjamin Herbert, Victor Perez, Kurt Kitayama, Matthias Schwab and Erik von Rooyen This was his fourth win on the European Tour placing him 30th in the World Rankings and sixth in the Race to Dubai. |
European Tour - Rory McIlroy
Mon, 4th Nov 2019 WGC-HSBC Champions - Sheshan - Shanghai - China - 31st to 3rd of November, 2019. Rory McIlroy from Northern Ireland was pushed to a play-off against American golfer Xander Schauffele. This victory brought his European Tour wins up to a grand total of fourteen. In third place with two strokes more was South African Louis Oosthuizen. Rory McIlroy moved to second place in the World Rankings and 5th in the Race to Dubai. |
