Victoria Thu, 1st Oct 2015 The Portugal Masters this year virtually avoided the threatening bad weather after months of sunshine. Andy Sullivan took the lead on Day One with three strokes over his nearest rival. At the end of Day Two this had increased to six strokes. Day Three morning was very windy but by the end of the day Andy Sullivan maintained his lead but now reduced to five strokes. he finished the tournament with a handsome lead of nine strokes over fellow Englishman Chris Wood. One stroke behind Chris Wood was Eduardo de la Rivo, Trevor Fisher Jr. and Anthony Wall. Ricardo Gouveia led the Portuguese participation with five strokes below par and was placed 31st. Tomas Silva was next in 68th place, then Tiago Cruz and Ricardo Santos in 73rd. Followed by Vitor Lopes at 87th, João Carlota at 101st, José-Filipe at 108th, and finally Pedro Figueiredo at 125th. |

Thu, 1st Oct 2015 Thorbjorn Olesen - (Denmark) Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Old Course - St. Andrews - Scotland - 1st to 4th October 2015 With a two stroke lead Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen claimed victory over Brooks Koepka and Chris Stroud both from the USA. Only one stroke further back was the Englishman Chris Wood. This is his third win on the Tour and he moved into 73rd position in the World Ranking and 27th place in the Race to Dubai. |
