Dustin Johnson from the USA added one more European title on the European Tour in Saudi Arabia making his total score at nine. In joint second place with two more strokes were fellow countryman Tony Finau and England's Justin Rose. With just one more stroke were Calum Hill from Scotland and Vitor Perez from France. With this win Dustin Johnson moved to first place in the World Rankings.

England's Paul Casey added yet another win by four strokes in the Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour making his total to 15 titles. In second position was South African Brandon Stone, whilst Robert McIntyre from Scotland came third with one more stroke. Paul Casey moved to 3rd place in the Race to Dubai and 17th in the World Rankings.

England's golfer Tyrrell Hatton gained his 6th European Tour title in Abu Dhabi with a four stroke advantage over his nearest rival Jason Scrivener from Australia. In third place with one further stroke was Rory McIlroy from Northern Ireland. With this win Tyrrell Hatton moved to first place in the Race to Dubai and 5th in the World Rankings.
