Jeppe Huldahl - (Denmark) The Celtic Manor Wales Open The Celtic Manor - City of Newport - Wales -4th to 7th June, 2009 Denmark's' Jeppe Huldahl held off Niclas Fasth and Ignacio Garrido to secure his maiden European Tour title at The Celtic Manor Wales Open. The 26-year-old, who held the joint lead overnight, produced a faultless display on the final day, not dropping a shot in a 67 for a nine-under-par total. With this win, his first top 10 finish on the European Tour. Huldahl climbed 175 places in the World Ranking to Nº 202 and 74th place in the Race to Dubai.

Lucas Glover - (USA) US Open Championship Bethpage State Park - Farmingdale - New York - USA - 18th to 21st June, 2009 Lucas Glover claimed a two-shot victory in a dramatic final day which he and Ricky Barnes had started with a five-shot lead over the field at seven under par as the rain delayed US Open Championship moved into a fifth day at Bethpage Black. At one point the lead was held jointly by Glover, Phil Mickelson and David Duval while England's Ross Fisher also challenging. Glover clinched his first Major Championship win with a birdie on 16 and pars on the final two holes as his rivals all bogeyed either the 15th or 17th holes or both. Glover moved into the World Top 20 to Nº 18, a jump of 53 places and after starting the year as only Nº 177.

Christian Nilsson - (Sweden) Saint-Omer Open Aa St Omer - St Omer - France - 18th to 21st June, 2009 Christian Nilsson from Sweden scored his maiden win on the European Tour in France beating Jose-Filipe Lima from Portugal by a solid four strokes. A further four strokes back were Javier Colomo, Lorenzo Gagli, Richard McEvoy and Ake Nilsson.

Nick Dougherty - (England) BMW International Open Golfclub München Eichenried - Munich - Germany - 25th to 28th June, 2009 Nick Dougherty claimed his first European Tour title for two years after a one shot victory over Rafa Echenique at the BMW International Open. The Englishman started the day three shots behind Retief Goosen but his nine birdies and just a solitary bogey secured a sublime eight under round of 64 which completed a 22 under total. Echenique holed his second at the last for his first ever albatross. Dougherty jumped 56 places to Nº 64.

Christian Cevaer - (France) The European Open The London - Ash - Kent - England -28th to 31st June, 2009 Christian Cevaer from France began the week as the World Number 449 and without a Top 30 finish in his last 15 tournaments, but he overcame the star-studded field to win The European Open and jump 320 places to World Nº 129. The 39 year old, whose only previous European Tour victory was the 2004 Open de Espana, beating England's Steve Webster, Scot Gary Orr and Spaniard Alvaro Quiros by one stroke.
