Pablo Larrazabal - (Spain) BMW International Open Golfclub Munchen Eichenried - Munich - Germany - 23rd to 26th June 2011 Pablo Larrazabal defeated fellow Spaniard Sergio Garcia on the 5th hole of a play-off to win the BMW International Open. The 28-year-old's victory in Munich came only 20 days after he lost at the sixth hole of sudden death in an Open Championship qualifier at Sunningdale. Larrazabal will be going to Sandwich after all - and so will Garcia, whose runner-up finish earned him the other place up for grabs off a 'current form' mini-money list. The players had tied on 16 under par after Garcia birdied the 18th hole for the fourth successive day in regulation play but he three putted for par on the same hole and the title was his. Larrazabal moved up to 94th place with a jump of 86 places and Garcia moved to 51st in the World Rankings.
