Santo Antonio Pep Gancedo Trophy Sun, 13th Aug 2017 The Santo Antonio Golf Course near Budens is celebrating its 30th birthday. On August the 16th they will be holding a competition named “Pepe Gancedo Trophy” named after the original Spanish architect of their challenging course. USA's Justin Thomas claimed the PGA Championship and his first Major with a lead of two strokes over tied second, Italian Francisco Molinari and fellow countryman Patrick Reed. Justin Thomas moved into 6th place in the World Rankings. |
European Tour - Hidei Matasuyma
Sun, 13th Aug 2017 WGC-Bridgestone INvitational - Firestone - Akron - Ohio - USA - 3rd to 6th Augstust. 2017. Japan's Hidei Matsuyma led by five strokes at the end of play over USA's Zack Johnson at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron. Fellow American Charley Hoffman finished in third position just one stoke further back. Hidei Matsuyma moved into third place in the World Rankings. |

English golfer Jordan Smith was involved in a tight play off with Frenchman Alexander Levy in order to win the Porsche European Tour event in Germany. In third place was Swedish player Johan Edfors with two more strokes. Jordan Smith moved to 18th place in the Race to Dubai. |

Sun, 13th Aug 2017 Scottish Open - Dundonald - Troon - Ayrshire - Scotland - 13th to 16th July, 2017. Spanish golfer Rafa Cabrera Bello won his fourth Tour win in 293 attempts in the Scottish Open with a playoff against Englishman Callum Shinkwin. In third place was French golfer Matthieu Pavon three stokes further back. Rafa Cabrera Bello moved to 4th place in the Race to Dubai and 17th in the World Rankings. |
Ladies European Tour - Attaya Thitikil

Thailand's Attaya Thitikil at the age of 14 became the youngest player on the Tour to win a tournament on the Ladies Tour. Finishing with two strokes advantage from Ana Menendez of Mexico and three from Australia's Whitney Hillier. |
