Leading players in the European golf world are going to be in action at The Portugal Masters later this month. Among the many names are Danny Willett and Andy Sullivan from England, Padraig Harrington from Ireland, Darren Clarke form Northern Ireland, Robert Karlsson from Sweden and Thomas Pieters from Belgium.

Lucas Bjeergaard from Denmark won his first Tour event at the Portugal Masters in the Algarve. He finished four strokes ahead of Scotland's of Marc Warren. One stroke further back were Graeme Storm and Eddie Pepperell. Lucas Bjeergaard moved to 193rd position in the World Rankings and 47th in the Race to Dubai.

France's Romain Wattel gained his maiden Tour victory by two strokes from Canadian Austin Connelly in Holland. One stroke further back was South African George Coetzee. Romain Wattel moved to 215th position in the World Rankings and 58th place in the Race to Dubai.

Promising young Matthew Fitzpatrick added another win in Switzerland after a play-off with Australia's Hend Scott to make a total of 4 on the Tour. Three stokes further back were Tyrell Hatton and Fabrizio Zanotti. Matthew Fitzpatrick moved into 33rd position in the World Rankings and 12th in the Race to Dubai.

South African Haydn Porteous secured his second Tour victory with two strokes from England's Lee Slattery, followed by England's Tom Lewis and Sweden's Pontus Widegren just one stroke further back. Haydn Porteous moved to 206 place in the World Rankings and 62nd position in the Race to Dubai.

USA's Julian Suri gained his first Tour win in Denmark with four strokes from England's David Horsey, and two further strokes a trio of players which included Ben Evans, Chris Paisley and Steve Webster. This success placed his 103 in the World Rankings and 59 in the Race to Dubai.

The Australian golfer Jason Norris won his maiden Tour victory in Fiji by beating Thai player Jazz Janewattananond by four strokes, and Australia's James Marchesani and David Mackenzie. This win placed Jason Norris in 429 place in the World Rankings and 137th in the Race to Dubai.

Spanish golfer Adrian Otaegui claimed his maiden win in Germany in Match Play over Marcel Siem from Germany. This placed in 43rd position in the Race to Dubai.
