The previously 'Open de Portugal' has now been reconstituted as the 'Portugal Open' and moved from the European Tour over to the Challenge Tour. The first of this lesser value competition was won by the Australian golfer Dimitrios Papadatos by two strokes from both local golfer Jose-Filipe Lima and France's Antoine Rozner. Dimitrios Papadatos moved to 230 position in the World Rankings and 207th in the Race to Dubai. |
European Tour - Francisco Molinari
Mon, 28th May 2018 PGA Championship - Wentworth - Virginia Waters - Surrey - England - 24th to 27th May, 2018. Italian golfer Francisco Molinari claimed victory in the PGA Championship on the Tour in Virginia Waters. He finished minus two strokes from Northern Ireland Rory McIlroy. One stroke further back was Lucas Bierrregaard from Denmark. This win was Francisco Molinari fifth on the Tour and placed him 20th in the World Rankings and third in the Race to Dubai. |
European Tour - Adrian Olaegui
Mon, 28th May 2018 Belgium Knockout - Rinkven Int. - Antwerp - Belgium - 17th to 20th May, 2018. Spanish golfer Adrian Olaegui won the Belgium Knockout on the Tour in Antwerp. This was the second win so far for Adrian Olaegui on the Tour and in the final he won against Frenchman Benjamin Hebert. This win placed him 78th place in the World Rankings and 16th in the Race to Dubai. |
European Tour - Joakim Lagergren
Mon, 14th May 2018 Sicilian Open - Vendura - Agrigento - Sicily - Italy - 10th to 13th May, 2018. Sweden's golfer Joakim Lagergren gained his maiden victory on the Tour in Sicily in a play-off against France's Mike Lorenzo-Vera. Lying back in third play were both Australia's Lucas Herbert and England's Andy Sullivan. Joakim Lagergren moved to 133rd position in the World Rankings and 28th place in the Race to Dubai. |

Alexander Bjork from Sweden claimed his maiden win on the Tour in China beating by one stroke Spanish golfer Adrian Otaegui. One stroke further back were a trio consisting of Jorge Campillo, Jordan Smith and Matt Wallace. Alexander Bjork moved to 73rd position in the World Rankings and 9th in the Race to Dubai. |

Tue, 8th May 2018 Trophee Hassan II - Royal Golf - Rabat - Morocco - 19th to 22nd April, 2018 French golfer Alexander Levy claimed his 5th victory on the Tour in Morocco beating a group of four golfers with them having just one stroke more. These were Alvaro Quiros, Alexander Bjork, Joakim Lagergren, Mikko Ilonen and Andrea Pavan. Alexander Levy moved to 47th position in the World Rankings and 8th in the Race to Dubai. |
