English golfer Matthew Fitzpatrick added this year's title of World Tour Championship to his list of titles making a total of six. He finished one stroke less than his nearest rival Lee Westwood. In equal third place was Viktor Hovland and Patrick Reed. Matthew Fitzpatrick was placed in second position in the Race to Dubai whilst the title went to Lee Westwood. He moved to 16th place in the Word Rankings.

Fittingly South African golfer Christiaan Bezuidenhout gained his third title on the European Tour with his strong win in the South African Open over his nearest rival Jamie Donaldson from Wales with a five stroke lead. Two strokes further back was Dylan Fritelli from South Africa. Christiaan Bezuidenhout moved into 7th position in the Race to Dubai and 35th in the World Rankings.

French golfer Antoine Rozner claimed his maiden title when he won the esteemed Dubai Championship by two strokes from a group of four other worthy competitors. Francisco Laporta, Mike Lorenzo-Vera, Andy Sullivan and Matt Wallace. Antoine Rozner moved to 204th position in the World Rankings.

South African Christiaan Bezuidenhout claimed the Alfred Dunhill title in South Africa bu four strokes from a group of four players. Richard Bland, Sean Crocker, Adrian Merank and Jaydon Shaper. Christiaan Bezuidenhout has won two titles on the European Tour and is 9th in the Race to Dubai and ranks 41st in the World Rankings.
