Good value course in excellent condition.
Salgados today was superb. Fairways and greens immaculate.
We wanted to stop half way for a drink and a snack, with the thought of rejoining the back nine after a half hour or so. We were advised however that this wasn't possible due to how busy the course was. Wonder if a 15 min stop would be a good idea for all, especially on a hot day!?

Quality greens and hole design.
Excellent greens, very true roll. I liked a lot of the shorter par 4's, you have to play sensible tee shots to leave a good chance in. Inviting first hole downhill, some great looking par 3's. You can see why this has held pro tournaments as from the tees looking out onto the fairways, the design is there to see. Bunkers immaculate, tees well used but good, lots of traffic over peak months. Fairways great. Would recommend! Walked with a trolley, some up and down bits so buggy may be more suitable if you don't like some walking up slope. Distance between tees not an issue, majority are close by.
Greens and hole design stand out here.

My favourite golf course in the Algarve
After playing vale da pinta and don pedro Victoria, this is by far a better course than both of those. Extremely good value for money and excellent staff and service. Playing from the tips with the afternoon wind made it an extremely tough challenge. You better be able to hit a straight ball off the tee and know how to control your ball. The most scenic and amazing greens I have seen ...greens bigger than the width of the fairways. Definitely one to play on the Algarve swing and play off the tips for a good challenge. Greens very tricky

Fantastic and challenging course!! Very undulating, narrow, blind holes, uphill and not for golfers looking for a leisure game. I personally love it even though I played poorly and my partner absolutely hated the course. 13th hole is stunning with fairways like a narrow valley and the pine trees backdrop framing the green looks picture perfect!!
