We used AgarveGolf.net for our recent trip to the Western Agarve, we played San Antonio, Morgado and Boavista. The service we received from our agent James Crawford was superb. He handled our booking with with speed and he communicated brilliantly by email. He made the whole experience completely hassle free. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone considering a golfing holiday in the area.

Eats through the confusion

Our first golf holiday so quite confused how to book everything but needn't have worried. Algarvegolf are easy to deal with, website informative, did everything asked and expected of them. Would recommend booking through them.
What a great service

We booked 5 twilight times over a 14 day period. The times were sufficiently early to be able to complete the courses. Sadly when we had completed 3 rounds I managed to trip and break my left arm. Of course we couldnt play the last two rounds. I telephoned and explained the situation to Algarve Golf (James) who was extremely helpful. He rang the two courses and cancelled the bookings and although he had said the courses usually needed medical confirmation they both agreed to cancel and refund the payment for the rounds. This approach took a lot of weight off my wife and I while dealing with medical insurance etc.

First time using AlgarveGolf.net and will certainly not be the last. I was amazed at the speed of booking and how helpful they were in arranging my tee times and buggy etc. for chosen dates and times. Everything went smoothly at the course itself and the whole experience made a big contribution to having a great holiday.

North course is getting back to it's very best , having played it at the end of May and found the conditions of the grass & bunkers to be very poor I wasn't sure how it would be yesterday 03rd August , but they have recovered it excellently, it's one of my favourite courses in the Algarve , not very long but greens can be tricky , it has the nicest opening tee shot of all the courses , I walked it for 07.36 tee time and it was already very warm , a good workout! Looking forward to playing it again

4th time playing on this trip and 6th overall and I have to say I love this course. It's not a bombers track but the small greens, well placed bunkering and elevated greens make it a good test of golf. Some of the locals are a bit strange and unfriendly, probably frustrated at holiday golfers on their course but that's where the money comes from. Could do with a drinks cart assuming there isn't one as I've never seen one. The greens are in excellent condition and so quick compared to the ones back home. The terrace at the clubhouse overlooking the 18th approach and green is excellent and the beer very welcome!
This will always be my go to when travelling to Alvor.

Good course, tough but fair. Played as a three ball and walked round in just under 4 hours. Greens show signs of the maintenance that was done but nothing too major just coring and sand on some more than others. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bunkers are always in game, on the fairway or around greens. Roughs are thick. The last 9, holes are sloping. Rent a buggy isn't a luxe, some transition are a little bit long and climb hard! All the Golf Team is very kind. Play it!
