Thu, 1st Dec 2016 Dating back to 1986 the Grande Trofeu Vilamoura commences on the 8th of December and runs until the 10th. It is a open tournament for all levels of players and is already this year fully booked. The courses to be played are those to be found in Vilamoura and Stroke play will be the order of the day. |

Victoria European Tour - Portuguese Masters 2017 Sat, 17th Dec 2016 Victoria Golf Course - Vilamoura - Algarve - 21st to 24th September, 2017. The European Tour have announced that this season the 'Portuguese Masters' will occur much earlier in the year which will certainly increase the guarantee of excellent playing weather for this prestigious event. In the Year 2017 it will take place from the 21st to the 24th of September. |

Morgado European Tour- Portuguese Open Sat, 17th Dec 2016 Morgado Golf Course - Portimao - Algarve - 11th to 14th May, 2017. The European Tour has announced the welcome return of the 'Open de Portugal' after an absence of seven years. The Morgado in the Algarve has been declared the course on which the event will be played from the 11th to the 14th of May. The owners are 'NAU Hotels' and they also own the Alamos and the Salgados, both in the Algarve. |

San Lorenzo Algarve Pro Golf Tour 2016/17 - Ricardo Santos Tue, 13th Dec 2016 San Lorenzo Classic I - San Lorenzo Course - Algarve - 8th December, 2016. Ricardo Santos won the Algarve Pro Tour at San Lorenzo by one stroke from Englishmen Sam Buss and David Dixon. In third place was another English golfer Adam Chapman with one further stroke. |

Pinheiros Altos Algarve Pro Golf Tour 2016/17 - Pedro Figueiredo Thu, 8th Dec 2016 Pinheiros Altos Classic II - Pinheiros Altos Course - Algarve - 4th December, 2016 Lisbon golfer Pedro Figueiredo beat Hugo Santos by two strokes to win the Algarve Pro Golf Classic II. In third place and one stroke more was Ricardo Santos. |

Estoril based Tiago Cruz took first place after a play-off against Pedro Figueiredo. Third place was tied between Ricardo Santos and Jack Hiluta. |

European Tour - Sam Brazel
Mon, 12th Dec 2016 Hong Kong Open - Fanling - Hong Kong - 8th to 11th December, 2016. Australian golfer Sam Brazel gained his maiden win in Hong Kong on the Tour by one stroke from Spanish Rafa Cabrera Bello. Tied in third place were Australian Andrew Dodt and Englishman Tommy Fleetwood. Sam Brazel moved into 147th position on the World Rankings. |

Mon, 12th Dec 2016 MCB Tour Championship - Constance Belle Mare Plage - Poste de Flacq. - Mauritius - 9th to 11th December, 2016. English golfer Barry Lane won in Mauritius by one stroke from fellow Englishman Paul Broadhurst. In third place was Scot Colin Montgomerie with one stroke more. This was Barry Lane's fifth victory on the Seniors Tour. |

European Tour - Harold Varner III
Mon, 5th Dec 2016 Australian PGA Championship - Royal Pines - Gold Coast - Queensland - Australia - 1st to 4th December, 2016. The American golfer Harold Varner III achieved his maiden win on the Tour in Queensland by beating Australian Andrew Dodt by two strokes. Fellow Australian Adam Scott was placed third with another two strokes back. With this win Harold Viner III then moved into 108 place on the World Rankings. |
