Bernd Wiesberger - (Austria) Lyoness Open Diamond - Atzenbrugg - Austria - 25th to 28th July, 2012 Home favorite Bernd Wiesberger made it win number two in 2012 after a scintillating Sunday 65 saw the Austrian triumph at the Lyoness Open. Starting the day four back of overnight leader Thorbjorn Olesen was always going to make victory tough, but seven birdies from the ninth on the final day saw the giant Austrian overhaul the deficit, to eventually win by three from French veteran Thomas Levet and Ireland's Shane Lowry. It was Wiesberger's second win on The European Tour, his first coming at the Ballantine's Championship in Korea earlier this year, with both contributing to a career high World Ranking of 42 and 8th in the Race to Dubai.

Marcel Siem - (Germany) Alstom Open de France Le Golf National - Paris - France - 5th to 8th July, 2012 The victory in Paris brought his total to 4 wins on the European Tour in 340 participations. Marcel Siem held off a stunning final round charge from Francesco Molinari to claim his second European Tour title at the Open de France. With six strokes behind overnight, Molinari double bogeyed the first but responded with nine birdies in a stunning 64 and the the best round of the week at Le Golf National. Siem, whose only previous win came at the 2004 Dunhill Championship, saved par at the first despite finding water from the tee and was able to avoid any dropped shots up until the 18th. He moved to 71st place in the World Rankings and 30th in the Race to Dubai.

On a windy final day Singh shot a 5-under-par round of 67, the joint best score of the day along with Matthew Baldwin who climbed 27 places to finish tied 5th. Scotland's Marc Warren held the lead during the final round but eventually finished joint third with Swede Alex Noren one shot back. This win took Singh to 1095 position in the World Rankings and 159 spot in the Race to Dubai.

Ernie Els - (South Africa) The 141st Open Championship Royal Lytham & St. Annes - Lytham - England - 19th to 22nd July, 2012 This win took Ernie Els number of wind on the European Tour to 28. He has been nominated as the Player of the Month by the European Tour for the Race to Dubai as a result of his outstanding victory in the Royal Lytham & St Annes Open. Now 48 years old, the South African won four Majors in his career and the last one shown his masterly touch on the green. Ernie Els produced a stunning back nine 32 to pip Australian Adam Scott to The Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes. This was 10 years on from his last Major victory, the South African could hardly believe he had become Open Champion again. The 42 year old, the same age as last year's winner Darren Clarke, triumphed after Scott bogeyed the last four holes over the difficult closing stretch. Scott, chasing his first Major, looked all set to become the first Australian to hold The Claret Jug aloft since Greg Norman in 1993 when he led by four shots with only four holes to play. But he bogeyed them all and Els having made a crucial 15 foot birdie putt on the final green 20 minutes earlier suddenly found himself with a fourth Major title. The win took Els to 82 in the World Rankings and 64 in the Race to Dubai.
