The 18 hole championship Vale do Lobo Royal Golf Course is a sister to the Ocean Course. This course has combined several existing holes from the original Vale do Lobo Course and introduced some special interesting new holes. The layout of the course is skillful planned with a mixture of challenges slowly building up to a finally one on the eighteenth.

The famous Par 3 seventh hole from the old days is now the spectacular sixteenth on this new course. The closing eighteenth is a tricky hole on which to finish, with its narrow fairway and a deceptive green.

Played Twilight on the Royal. Course in good condition but greens were a tad bumpy as we played late afternoon. 16th par 3 over the ocean is awesome and the rest of the course has a good layout. Definitely recommend

Course was very nice though certainly was impacted with recent rains (water in sand bunkers etc.). Pace was very good until the 9th hole with further backups on 12-14. I mentioned to ranger monitoring play they need push some groups along, especially give that you had started to rain. Otherwise a nice day.
