Quirky but challenging fun

Quirky course with more than normal number of par 5s and 3s. In good condition, lots of elevated tees. Was recommended we play off “53” tees unless handicaps 7 or less. This made the course on the short side, I would go for “58” tees otherwise lots if wedges to the greens.

The course was in very good condition and was very nice to play on. Well frequented, but not crowded. The staff was very friendly. The price-performance ratio was excellent! The locker room and showers were outstanding. The terrace in the restaurant is also highly recommended for lunch and drinks after the round! I would definitely come back.'

Stunning new Algarve course. The front nine is really novel and tests all your skills. Greens really tricky to read. All in great condition. I’ve played all the Algarve courses and Ombria is up there with Monte Rei and QDL South.
