Boavista Description

The 18 hole Boavista Golf Course is located very close to the town of Lagos. It offers two distinct sections of play providing a variety of attractive and interesting holes. From the first to the last putt on the 18th green it promises a sensible game for the average player. Umbrella pines, blossoming almond, fig, palm and olive trees line the rolling fairways, weaving their way between water hazards and carefully placed bunkers. Boavista Golf Course provides breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the clear Atlantic Ocean, which is visible from most holes, all combine to make this course a delight for the golfer.

Having played here a couple of times before it’s still a good course, although the greens were not in as good a condition as they have been in the past

An excellent course with some really good holes with lots of character. There are dog legs, holes with large ravines to cross and holes where you cannot just boom the driver off the tee. A good test of golf on a well maintained course. Definitely worth playing and good value for money.
