Vale da Pinta Description

Vale da Pinta Golf Course is located on the outskirts of the village of Carvoeiro. The course is well laid out and is an interesting and challenging course to play. Set in a truly Algarve landscape with almond, olive and carob trees decorating the fairways that roll through small valleys and hills. Some of the olive trees are reputed to be in the region of 1,500 years old.

Two holes that deserve special mention are the par 3 tenth and the par 5 thirteenth. The former has a large bunker defending the green against your shot, the latter, runs along a valley for some 541 metres.

This month, I was for the first time at Vale da Pinta together with my golf-friend John. As from arrival untill the last moment we were impressed about the quality / hospitality/ service at this beautiful golf course. We will never forget the tour between the olive trees.

Insgesamt in einem guten Zustand,aber man braucht Zeit , die Fairways sind der Jahreszeit entsprechend ziemlich trocken .also wie überall, strategisch spielen.kennen den Platz schon einige Jahre, macht immer noch Freude ihn zu spielen

Quiet as you would expect with a twilight round. Very friendly staff and we thought the course was in good condition. We enjoy it as there are many holes where it is difficult to lose a ball but there are a few with challenges. We are a beginner and a high 20’s handicap.

Last course we played last week and after putting on salgardos (v.good)Espiche (excellent) Ombria (excellent)thease greens were very disappointing.
