Silves Golf Description

We offer discount golf rates for the 18 hole Silves Golf Course situated near to the town of Silves. This is the latest course belonging to the Pestana Group and is surrounded by typical Algarve fruit orchards and small farms. The course has been designed to test the quality in hitting a well directed ball using the correct choice of club. This point is immediately emphasised as you stand on the first tee faced by two water hazards flanking the fairway. The course has been described as designed for attacking play whilst the bunkers are well placed to cause possible trouble to the big hitters.

The course was in excellent condition and astonishingly quiet. Not a single fleet in front or back. The weather was quite humid but sun was shining and we had so much fun playing here. Also the club house was nice and tidy.

Managed to get 12 holes in beautiful weather. Course in decent nick apart from hundreds of pitch marks on the greens. Always enjoy coming here. A good mix of holes, short par 4s, testing par 3s and some really interesting par 5s

Good course, great condition despite the end of the summer period and main season for golfers. Totally ridiculous you can only reserve a buggie if you have a medical certificate, in fact it’s a disgrace
