The Quinta do Lago North Golf Course is located within the luxury estate of Quinta do Lago. The course has four great par 5 holes requiring power and accuracy to play them successfully and at the same time providing attractive views. The par 3 holes are well influenced by the wind. Hole 14 is outstanding. The par 4s are all doglegs except for holes 10 and 13. Precision driving is vital to set up the chance of a low score. The lakes on holes 13 and 18 have claimed many unhappy victims. The course tends to favour the golfer who can draw the ball.

Course looks like it is being overplayed plus no buffer teetimes to help with place of play . 5hrs 15mins for 4 ball, lucky to finish with enough light to see the ball. Don't take teetime after 12.30 if possible at this time of year.

The lack of a course ranger resulted in a 5 hour plus round of golf which took away from the enjoyment as waiting over every shot. 8 minute intervals is far too short. Don’t think I’ll be returning again

All of the three courses ar QDL are a joy to play. The North lives up to its reputation as a premium course with championship level credentials. More challenging than the South course from the back tees. High greens fee but worth every penny.

Very good layout and very enjoyable. Fairways and greens were excellent, the greens being challenging and quite quick for a Portugal course. Would definitely play it again
