Gramacho Description

The Gramacho Golf Course near Carvoeiro in the Algarve was originally a nine hole course which has been extended and cleverly redesigned to become a fully fledged interesting 18 hole course. A formidable challenge to its designer! The course covers undulating terrain with olive, almond and carob trees scattered as planted years before by the local farmers. The Gramacho Course is designed for the player to be technically accurate and to know which club to choose before hitting the ball. Anything less will quickly increase his score.

Last time we played this course was in 2022 and I had forgotten how much fun it is. Lots of variety in the holes, I really like the archictecture, the water, the bridges and the heights. Lovely people in the shop and the clubhouse. We'll definitely go back soon :)

Fun course to play, not long, greens are excellent and clubhouse and service are very good. It has a better rating than other golf courses in the area which i do not agree with like Espiche or O Connor which all our group thought were better. Will play again
