Gramacho Description

The Gramacho Golf Course near Carvoeiro in the Algarve was originally a nine hole course which has been extended and cleverly redesigned to become a fully fledged interesting 18 hole course. A formidable challenge to its designer! The course covers undulating terrain with olive, almond and carob trees scattered as planted years before by the local farmers. The Gramacho Course is designed for the player to be technically accurate and to know which club to choose before hitting the ball. Anything less will quickly increase his score.

Nice round with good company (wife) in good weather. The course was in good condition, however some bunkers were not in as good condition as they could have been (hard sand). The course was mostly empty in front of us so quite fast round 3,5hrs even with carry-on bags without buggy. Overall good value for money and I highly recommend to visit Gramacho!

Scenery is awesome Greens are great. Service is very good, especially Daniel the starter. Grass on fairways is médiocre

Never played Gramacho before but what a pleasant surprise. The course was in good condition and we were paired with 2 guys from Essex who we had a good laugh with. Twilight round - managed to get round 16. Unfortunately too dark to play 17 & 18 which look great holes. Quite a quirky course and very undulating with a few blind shots. No 2 holes the same so an interesting round. Greens are slopey and quite tricky!
