Easter Golf Festival - Santo Antonio Course

The Santo Antonio Golf Club in Budens is holding its “Easter Golf Festival” from the 14th to the 17th of April. Each day of the Festival will be a different style of competition and the entry fee will vary from € 35.00 to € 60.00 depending on the tournament being held that actual day.

Almond Blossom Tournament - Palmares Course

On the 24th of January the 38th annual Almond Blossom Tournament will commence on the Palmares Course with a Shotgun start at 10:00 hrs. This competition is the oldest in the Algarve and will provide 4 days play before closing on the 28th. Each day's play will vary in format and the entrance fee for each visitors is € 245.00.

Adega Mayor Tournament - Boavista Course

The Adega Mayor Tournament will be held on the 28th of January, 2017, on the Boavista Course. It's format is a Shotgun Stableford commencing at 09:00 hours. Playing guests fee is € 71.00 which will include a buffet lunch at the Club House and a shared buggy.

Tile Mountain Classic - Laranjal Course - Algarve - 6th and 7th January, 2017.

By one less shots Ricardo Gouveia won the Tile Mountain Classic in the Algarve. It was a tight win against his fellow Portuguese Joao Ramos and Pedro Figueiredo and South African Tyler Hogerty

Ladies European Tour - Haru Nomura

Women's Australian Open - The Grange - White Sands - Australia . 18th to 21st January, 2017.

Japanese golfer Haru Nomura had a three stroke lead on the final day in Australia over her nearest rival New Zealand's Lydia Ko. Australia's Karrie Webb finished third a further six strokes back.

European Tour - Tommy Fleetwood

Abu Dhabi Championship - Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates - 19th to 22nd January, 2017.

English golfer Tommy Fleetwood won his second Tour victory in Abu Dhabi by one stroke from both Dustin Johnson and Pablo Larrazabal on the final day. This win moved him into the 53rd position in the World Rankings and 1st in the Race to Dubai.

New Zealand's Womens Open - Lydia Ko

New Zealand's Womens Open - Clearwater - New Zealand - 12th to 14th January, 2017.

South Korean born Lydia Ko started the Year of 2017 well by winning the New Zealand's Womens Open. She finished two strokes less than three rivals, Felicity Johnson, Hye Jin Choi and Nanna Koerstz Madsen.

European Tour - Graeme Storm

SA Open - Glendower - Ekurhuleni - Gauteng - South Africa - 12th to 15th January, 2017.

Englishman Graeme Storm achieved his second win on the Tour in South Africa with a tough play-off against Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy. One stroke back in third place was fellow Englishman Jordan L. Smith. This win placed in 133rd position in the World Rankings and 4th in the Race to Dubai.

European Tour - Sam Brazel

Hong Kong Open - Fanling - Hong Kong - 8th to 11th December, 1016.

Australian golfer Sam Brazel placed himself in 1st place in the Race to Dubai when he made his maiden win in Hong Kong. He beat Spanish Rafa Cabrera Bello with one less strokes on the final round. His position in the World Rankings moved to 139 place.
