The 18 hole championship Vale do Lobo Royal Golf Course is a sister to the Ocean Course. This course has combined several existing holes from the original Vale do Lobo Course and introduced some special interesting new holes. The layout of the course is skillful planned with a mixture of challenges slowly building up to a finally one on the eighteenth.

The famous Par 3 seventh hole from the old days is now the spectacular sixteenth on this new course. The closing eighteenth is a tricky hole on which to finish, with its narrow fairway and a deceptive green.

beautiful course but with a lack of maintenance. the lay out of course is really nice. But, not as usual, there was a lack of maintenance this time. The greens were slow and there are a lot of stains. Fairways are good and rough is well maintained. friendly staff! and good service in the clubhouse

Great shop and bar but very poor layout of course. Changes over the past 20 years since the last time I played have made the course worse. Very good condition but one of the poorest layouts in the area. However the 16th hole is still a great golf hole.

We enjoyed a very nice round of golf at Vale de Lobo Royal. The course is in good condition but very soft in place. The only negative was the pace of play which at 5hrs for the round was very slow. If this is normal for this course it would be worth knowing beforehand.
