Gonzalo Fernandez-Bello - (Spain) Barclays Singapore Open The Tanjong & The Serapong - Sentosa - Singapore - 10th to 13th November, 2011 Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano burst back into the winner's circle with a weather delayed playoff victory over Juvic Pagunsan at the Barclays Singapore Open. Having had to return to the course on the Monday, the pair continued where they had left off when thunder, lightning and heavy rain, had forced them into a fifth day. This was Pagunsan's chance, but he could not convert a 12 footer for birdie at the par-5 18th, and when he missed one of a similar length second time round, 'Gonzo' was left with a putt from just inside ten feet for the birdie and the win. This win marks a return to the winner's circle for Castano who has not won in Europe since the 2008 British Masters and makes up for a difficult middle of the season where he has spent much of it on the side lines with a back injury. On the Sunday he squandering a four shot lead with seven to play but held his nerve the following day to take the title. The win sends him back up inside the World Ranking Top 100 with a jump of 68 places to 58th.

He won by two and picked up his first European Tour title at the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Leading by two after Saturday's third round Mulroy kept his head in the final round, and although being caught twice on Sunday, he always had just enough to pull away from the chasing pack for a two shot victory. The win saw the South African jump almost 100 places up the Ranking to 183rd and 138th in the Race to Dubai.

With weather once again seeing the tournament shortened to 54-holes. Luiten headed into the Sunday shootout in Malaysia and four shots back of overnight leader Daniel Chopra. An opening nine of five under par saw him climb straight into contention for that first title heading into the final few holes. Some impressive form in 2011 had seen Luiten climb inside the Top 100 in the World Ranking, and this maiden title has sent him even further up to 46th and 51st in the Race to Dubai..
