Richard Sterne - (South Africa) Johannesburg Open South Africa - 7th to 10th February, 2013 With an outstanding 27 under par Richard Sterne claimed a comfortable victory over his nearest rival Charl Schwartzel also from South Africa. The win was his sixth on the European Tour and moved him into the Top 60 in the World Ranking list. The other wins on the Tour were the 2004 Open de Madrid, 2007 Wales Open, 2008 Johannesburg Open, 2009 Alfred Dunhill Championship and 2009 South African Open Championship. A final last day round of 63 with eight shots below par on his scorecard also made Richard Sterne the lowest final round scored in the history of the Johannesburg Open.

Darren Fichardt - (South Africa) Africa Open East London - 14th to 17th February, 2013 It was a close finish for Darren Fichardt as he started the final round tied to his South African compatriot Jaco Van Zyl. He managed to pull ahead after the turn and held this lead finishing with two shot advantage over Jaco who stumbled and then Gregory Bourdy from France came from behind at the finish. This is Darren Fitchardt's fourth European Tour victory as a 37 year old and moved into the Top 100 World Ranking. His previous wins on the Tour were the Sao Paulo Brazil Open in 2001, Qatar Masters in 2003 and Saint-Omar Open in 2012.

Matt Kuchar - (USA) WGC Match-Play Championship Arizona - 20th to 24th February, 2013 The win of this prestigious event gave Matt Kuchar his first European Tour victory after 46 participating attempts. It also moved him into the Top 10 in the World Rankings and gave him his seventh victory as a professional. In order to win the title he first had to beat off a solid challenge from the Australian Jason Day and then entered into a very close fight with his fellow American, Hunter Mahan who was the defending champion.

Dawie Van Der Walt - (South Africa) Tshwane Open South Africa - 28th to 3rd March, 2013 This victory has given 30 year old Dawie Van Der Walt his very first win in an European Tour event after 22 attempts. He beat his fellow South Africans, Darren Fichardt and Louis de Jager, both by two strokes when his previous best result had been a tied third place in 2012 Johannesburg Open. He moved up to be just inside the Top 220 in the World Rankings.
