Palmares Classic II - Palmares Course - 24th to 25th November, 2016.

Swedish golfer Felix Aberg gained the victory with a three stroke lead from Englishman Jamie Abbott, whilst Graig Lawrie took third place being another one stroke behind.

England's Harry Casey took first place by three strokes from fellow Englishman Jamie Abbott, whilst Portugal's Joao Carlota was just one stroke further back.

Boavista Classic I - Boavista Course - Algarve - 17th to 18th November, 2016.

English golfer Daniel Garner won the event by one stroke from a trio of players consisting of Harry Casey from England, Tiago Cruz and Jay Taylor both from Portugal.

The First Portuguese golfer to ever compete in the final of the Race to Dubai is Ricardo Gouveia. Being placed 3rd in the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa moved him into a career high of 56 in the World Rankings from being previously ranked 83rd.

The November tournament for the RBGC was the annual Dawson Bowl held on the Estoril Course as a Stableford competition. The winner was Eddie Leitão with 32 points and Evelyne Marret in second place with 31 points.

Santo Antonio Xmas & New Year's Festival

The Santo Antonio Course will be holding a Xmas and New Year's Eve Golf Festival from the 25th to the 26th of December, and on the 1st of January 2017. The will be two Texas Scrambles on the Xmas Eve and New Year's Day. On the 26th there will be organised a Greensomes with special prizes. Green fees are reduced to € 25.00 per player per round plus entry fee when applicable.

Morgado Course - Charity Event

The Morgado Course near Portimao under the direction of Jorge Papas held a Charity Event Day to raise much needed funds for the Portimao Voluntary Fire Brigade. The total raised from the competition and an auction came to € 5,800. The tournament's various winners were Gillian Marley, Paulo Pingo and Mario Ferreira,

The Faldo Course designed by Sir Nick Faldo has just been awarded by the 'World Golf Awards' the prestigious distinction of being the 'Best Portuguese Golf Course 2016'. Added to this is another award in that Portugal is declared the most popular golf destination in Europe.

On the 8th of November the Benamor Course will be holding their final competition for their 7th Benamor Amateur Tournament 2016. The format will be Greensomes and tee-offs will commence at 08:30 hrs. The entry fee is € 60.00 which also includes lunch.

European Tour - Matthew Fitzpatrick

World Tour Championship - Jumeirah - Dubai - UAE - 17th to 20th November, 2016.

English golfer Matthew Fitzpatrick as a Amateur won the World Tour Championship in Dubai by one stroke from fellow Englishman Tyrell Hatton. In third place was South African player Charl Schwartzel a further stroke back. This was Matthew Fitzpatrick's third win on the tour and placed him in 29th position in the World Rankings.

European Tour - Alex Noren

Nedbank Challenge - Gary Player - Sun City - South Africa - 10th to 13th November, 2016.

Swedish golfer Alex Noren continued his good form by winning the Tour event in South Africa. This made his third win this season and placed him third in the Race to Dubai and 17th in the World Rankings. Alex Noren ended his final round six strokes over South Korean Leunghun Wang. In tied third place were Alejandro Canizares, Victor Dubuisson, Ricardo Gouveia, Branden Grace and Andy Sullivan.

Ladies European Tour - Aditi Ashok

Hero Women's Indian Open - DLF Club - India - 11th to 13th November, 2016.

Aditi Ashok from India won on her home ground the Ladies European Tour in India. She scored one less stroke than USA's Brittany Lincicome and Spain's Belen Mozo. In third place was Kanphanitan Muangkhumsakal from Thailand. Aditi Ashok moved into 9th position in the Ladies Rankings.

Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open - Saadiyat Beach - Abu Dhabi - UAE - 2nd to 5th November, 2016.

USA's Beth Allen claimed her second win this year on the Ladies European Tour in Abu Dhabi. Beth Allen finished with a three stroke advantage over England's Georgia Hall and four strokes over Melissa Reid.

European Tour - Thorbjorn Olesen

Turkish Airlines Open - Regnum Carya - Antalya - Turkey - 3rd to 6th November, 2016.

Danish player Thorbjorn Olesen took the title in Turkey with his three stroke lead over China's Haotong Li and England's David Horsey. Two strokes more was Austria's Bernd Wiesberger in third position. This was Thorbjorn Olsen fourth win on the European Tour and placing him in 93rd position in the World Rankings and 9th in the Race to Dubai.

Challenge Tour - Bernd Ritthammer

NBO Golf Classic Grand Final - Al Mouj - Muscat - Oman - 2nd to 5th November, 2016.

German golfer Bernd Ritthammer won the Grand Final in Oman by one stroke from Sweden's Jens Dantorp. Two strokes more in third place were three Frenchman, Adrien Saddier, Julien Guerrier and Matthieu Pavon. Bernd Ritthammer ended the year in second place behind England's Jordan L. Smith in the Challenge Tour Rankings.
