Raphael Jacquelin - (France) Open de Espana Valencia - 18th to 21st April, 2013 Raphael Jacquelin from France was held at bay by very competitive play from Filipe Aguilar and Maximilian Kieffer and was therefore forced into a playoff. The first to fall away was Aquilar and then it took another five holes before Jacquelin won on the tenth play of the 18th hole with an approach shot to within five feet of the hole. This win was his first since 2011 and his 446th European Tour event moving him from 146th in the Rankings to 95th position. He also became the third Frenchman to win the Open de Espana.

Brett Rumford - (Australia) Ballentine's Championship Seoul - 25th to 28th April, 2013 Brett Rumford claimed his fourth European Tour victory in his 297th attempts and moved into the top 120 in the Rankings from a previous 253rd position. For the third time this month the event was settled with a playoff. Happily an eagle on the first extra hole gave him victory over both Marcus Fraser and Peter Whiteford. This was his first big win since 2007 and the second Australian to win the prestigious Ballantine's Championship.

Tiger Woods - (USA) WGC Cadillac Championship Florida - 7th to 10th March, 2013 The outstanding natural golf talent of Tiger Woods once more shone through against Rory McIlroy playing one of his best games. Tiger moved into number one place over Rory with just one point difference. This gives him his 39th European Tour victory after a gap of three years and his 98th professional win worldwide. However, this is the 17th win in 41 appearances in the WGC Championship. This is only the second win this 2013 season with the other being the Farmers Insurance Open held in the USA.

Thomas Aiken - (South Africa) Avantha Masters India - 14th to 17th March, 2013 Thomas Aiken from South Africa played a steady final round by hitting 17 out of 18 greens in regulation and played his best competitive tournament in his career. He ended up beating his nearest rival Gaganjeet Bhullar by three strokes, with Wen-chong Liang two strokes behind. This is the second win by Thomas Aiken on the European Tour, the other being the 2011 Open de Espana. The victory placed Thomas back in the Top 100 in the World Ranking.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat - (Thailand) Maybank Malaysian Open Kuala Lumpur - 21st to 24th March, 2013 With only one stroke difference Kiradech Aphibarnrat beat the Italian Edoardo Molinari to win his first European Tour event. Previously, his most successful position had been tied third in the 2010 Maybank Malaysian Open. His success took him from his 170th into the Top 90 World Ranking and the youngest winner so far in 2012 aged 23 years.

Marcel Siem - (Germany) Trophee Hassan II Morocco - 28th to 31st March, 2013 The 32 year old German Marcel Siem won his third victory in his 301st European Tour event and his fourth appearance at the Trophee Hassan II. After a slow start he finally beat both his nearest rivals Mikko Ilonen from Finland and David Horsey from England by three shots. This is the first time that a German has won the Trophee Hassan II since its inauguration in 1971 and his three stroke lead is his best ever win to date.
