on Mon, 9th Oct 2023 Vale de Pinta October 2023 Having played Vale da Pinta over many years we were disappointed when we played on Saturday 7th October. Our tee time was 2.15pm and we were not able to tee off until nearly 3pm due to delays with too many people on the course. There were many holes where at least three groups of players queuing, so needless to say we could not complete the 18 holes before it got dark and should have been charged a sunset rate and not full rate. Also the greens were in a shocking condition. Don't think we will be going back until these issues are resolved. |

Really nice course and mostly well maintained but the greens really let it down with dead patches and bleaching and white powder in large patches, Played with a couple of members and they said it was because they over water ? also a lot of stones in bunkers so need to keep out of them, Even with this said will return to paly again. |

However okay to play but don’t be fooled by the reasonable green fee - the rental of a golf cart at €45 per round (recommend though) makes playing this course more expensive then several other and much better courses in the Algarve. |

It has several lovely holes - especially the par 3s and is a fair challenge to decent golfers. I play off 8 and thoroughly enjoyed it. A few days rain recently has left the course in excellent playing condition. I have already booked to play again. The twilight rate offers superb value for money. Sometimes difficult to find where the next tee is but that is a small complaint in overall terms. |

on Mon, 15th Jul 2019 Decent course but needs some on course marshalling Played Vale de Pinta with my daughter - who is a beginner - late pm because at time of booking course looked empty and that suited us. Unfortunately, but through no fault of anyone, the course was busy. Couple of 4 balls in front of us were extremely slow and led to us coming off after 10 holes as we were waiting 5 mins for every shot. The course really needs a Marshall to keep on top of slow play. I couldn’t fault the welcome and the course was in good condition with a nice layout. |

The only criticism we have is that the bunkers that were very strategically placed did not have very much sand. However they are limited in number and yiu cannot book in advance so Ben prepared to possibly have to wait for buggies or not have them at all Besides that the course is great , challenging but good for average golfer. Played early morning and finished by midday. Course not that busy as it was the last day it was open before being closed for a month for annual maintenance |

I could not fault the staff at the course who were really good and very polite and accommodating. the round took 5 hours to complete. I am unsure if I would go back to this course. |
