on Fri, 30th Jun 2023 Nice one in the east! Very challenging Golf Course. Narrow Fairways and once you miss this you find yourself in a penalty area or you do not find the ball. Nice staff around and good range and practice facilities. Very good conditions of the fairways and the greens. |

on Mon, 12th Jun 2023 Must visit quim First time we have played east of Faro in our 15 past years of visiting the Algarve. Surpassed our expectations. Phenomenal views from clubhouse over into Spain and Castro Marin. Had a buggy which was needed for back 9, front nine could be walked. Lots of water hazodors on course - need to know where to go on holes1,7 and 10. Great challenge and superbly enjoyable. Caddy master at course and staff were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely go back as awesome value for money compared to other central algarve courses |

on Tue, 23rd May 2023 Wat een uitdaging Het ontwerp van een baan is naast status en onderhoud het allerbelangrijkst en dat ontwerp is op Quinta do Vale echt fantastisch, wat een genot deze baan te spelen, die for veel strategisch gelokaliseerd water een ware uitdaging is Ze zullen me hier vaker zien |

on Tue, 23rd May 2023 Great Place - off the beaten track. Beautiful location right on the border with Spain. Staff could have not been more helpful or accommodating. Lovely well maintained course with lots of water (take plenty of balls!). Had the place almost to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. Beware, phones will connect to the nearest cell tower in Spain which will change the time on phones. |

on Tue, 18th Apr 2023 Value for money We quite liked the course - whose two halves had very different characters - lots of water on the first and ups and downs on the second. The course condition was in good condition and the pace of play was good. The staff were very friendly too. It's probably a 3 and a half, but for what we paid it was quite good. |

on Tue, 14th Mar 2023 No gras on fairway The fairway was to dry and hard. Ball lies on hard turf most the time. Greens are in good conditions. Tees also not so nice. My wife and I will not return this month. The price should be 120.- for two with buggy and not the 165.-. |

on Fri, 27th Jan 2023 Schöner Platz, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. |

on Mon, 19th Dec 2022 The golf course was very beautiful, but quite difficult to play in. There was a lot of water and one should definitely stay on the fairway. We couldn't find our golf balls as they all rolled in the clovers and grass. |

on Mon, 3rd Oct 2022 Good course, good value, nice clubhouse great Course, really well designed in lovely condition. Bunkers not great with heavy course sand....but maybe needed to be that way due to wind. Empty houses around a few holes spoil the aesthetics but don’t let it put you off. Course is great and clubhouse excellent- try the Ballesteros burger or club sandwich! |

on Thu, 23rd Jun 2022 Quinta do Vale Fabulous lay out, Seve was not just a wonderful golfer but a great designer as well. Really liked the different 9 holes first pretty flat with lots of water and the second hilly with elevated tees and greens. Only slight drawback were the greens which looked a bit tired but putted fine. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and lovely lady behind the bar sorted us out with drinks. |

on Thu, 24th Feb 2022 Tricky course with abundant water hazards This is a tricky course as there is abundant water hazards on the first nine holes. Precision is very important to gain a good score. The fairways are wide on the whole and the course is hilly. A buggy makes it much more manageable for the over seventies. |

on Wed, 1st Dec 2021 Lovely layout and good value Warm welcome from the staff both in the shop and the bar. The course is a little scruffy in places, I played it some eight or so years ago and the ponds were lovely and clear, now they are full of reeds and weed which is a real shame. The course layout though is lovely, a good challenge for all levels. And the price made it great value for money for the area. A beautiful sunny day always helps though! |

on Mon, 23rd Aug 2021 A stunning course for no money - give it a try! A beautifully designed golf course in perfect conditions. 18 holes that demand a bit of thinking before every shot but it is worth it. At the first nine you should not be afraid of water that appears allover (not unfair), but this gives unique looks for every hole. The back nine run hilly up and down (without water) so you should consider a cart, at least in summer. The layout of the course is breathtaking, a real hidden beauty. At first I was a bit nervouse what you get for such a low greenfee but I can say: you get a perfect round of golf you won't forget. I don't give 5 stars because of the poor condition of the driving range (don't go there) and because of some unfinished and derelicted houses on the opposite site of the valley that come into view. |

on Sat, 19th Jun 2021 Poor course condition and lousy facilities The course is challenging. The front 9 has lot of water hazards. The course was ok to play but the condition of the course was very bad. Couple of the boxes didn't have any grass, they were basically just sand. The facilities looked very outdated and the cafe/restaurant didn't really have anything to offer. I don't recommend this course, there are much better options available than this |

on Wed, 27th Nov 2019 Seve certainly created a challenging course Fabulous course but very busy and also extremely windy when we played. on Tue, 12th Nov 2019 Ersatzbälle nicht vergessen Diesen Platz zu spielen war eine Herausforderung. |

on Fri, 23rd Aug 2019 A more than interesting journey Very nice course that I play regularly after discovering it last year. Not easy to judge the club to take because the wind is often at stake. The greens, including the impeccable greens and fairways, are maintained. Beware of roughs that are not easy. If you tend not to be straight with your face-offs, plan to use balls, especially on the holes in the way. |

on Thu, 20th Sep 2018 Very enjoyable course but need to be fairly accurate of the pictures,it has many elevated tees with stunning views around the course and also over the border to Spain. If you are staying in Vilamoura like us it's definitely worth the 40 minute drive and for what we paid ( € 115 for 2 golfers and a buggy puts some of the courses in and around Vilamoura to shame) word of warning lots of water. We personally would rate this 9/10 our handicaps are 5.1 and 12.2. Hope this helps if anyone is thinking where to play. Peter from Portsmouth.UK. |
