American golfer David Lipsky won his second tournament on the Tour in South Africa. In second place two strokes more as Scottish player David Drysdale. In equal third position were Scott Jameson and Zander Lombard. David Lipsky moved to 190th position in the World Rankings and first in the Race to Dubai.

Experienced South African golfer added in Johannesburg one more strong win to make his total of nine on the Tour. In second place with a further six strokes behind was France's Romain Langasque. In third place was fellow South African Thomas Aiken with a further two strokes. With this latest victory Louis Oosthuizen moved to 25th place in the World Rankings and 3rd on the Race to Dubai.

World Tour Championship - Jumeirah - Dubai - UAE - 15th to 18th of November, 2018.

The Race to Dubai is now over for the the year 2018 which was won by Italian golfer Francisco Molinari. The World Tour Championship was won by Englishman Danny Willett by two strokes from two equally positioned players, England's Matt Wallace and American Patrick Reed. This was Danny Willett's sixth victory on the Tour and he moved into 90th position in the World Rankings.

Englishman Justin Rose added one more to his total of Tour wins bringing it up to 11. However, it was a challenge and he was forced into a play-off against Chinese golfer Haotong Li . In equal third place was was Belgium's Thomas Detry and Spain's Adrian Otaegui. Justin Rose now moved into 1st place in the World Rankings and 3rd in the Race to Dubai.

American golfer Xander Schauffele gained his maiden Tour win in Shanghai in a play-off against fellow American Tony Finau. England's Justin Rose took third place with an extra four strokes. Xander Schauffele moved to 12th place in the World Rankings and 4th in the Race to Dubai.

Spain's Sergio Garcia added another comfortable win with four strokes to make his total 15 victories on the Tour. In second place was Ireland's Shane Lowry, and with Finland's Mikko Korhomen a further two strokes back. Sergio Garcia moved to 27th position in the World Rankings and 25th in the Race to Dubai.

By two strokes Englishman Eddie Pepperell won the British Masters from Sweden's Alexander Bjork. A further two strokes more was Australia's Lucas Herbert. This win was Eddie Pepperell's second win on the tour and he moved to 34th place in the World Rankings and 7th in the Race to Dubai.

Danish golfer Lucas Bjerregaard increased his Tour wins to two when he won in Scotland. Only one stroke more were two Englishmen, Tommy Fleetwood and Tyrell Hatton. In third place was Finnish Tapio Pulkktanen. Lucas Bjerregaard moved to the 55th position in the World Rankings and 10th in the Race to Dubai.

Chinese golfer Ashun Wu claimed his third win on the Tour in Spijk by one stroke from Englishman Chris Wood. In third place was Thomas Detry and Hideto Tannihara from Belgium and Japan respectively. Ashun Wu moved into 170th position in the World Rankings and 43rd in the Race to Dubai.

England's Matthew Fitzpatrick won in a play-off against Lucas Bierregaard from Denmark in Crans Montana, thus giving him his fifth victory on the Tour. Two strokes more in third place was Mike Lorenzo-Vera from France. This win placed Matthew Fitzpatrick in 44th position in the World Rankings and 13th in the Race to Dubai.

Four time winner on the European Tour Brooks Koepka from the USA led the field home with a two stroke lead over fellow compatriot Tiger Woods. One stroke further back was Australian Adam Scott. The win placed Brooks Koepka in second position in the World Rankings.

Francesco Molinari became the first Italian to win a Major when he won the Open in Scotland by a two stroke lead. English golfer Matt Wallace succeeded in winning his third Tour in Germany in the BMW International Open. With this win Matt Wallace moved to 72nd place in the World Rankings and 17th position in the Race to Dubai.

History was made in the US Open when Brooks Koepka made a back-to-back win which was the first time that a Major was successfully defended since Curtis Strange in 1989. Brooks won by one stroke from England's Tommy Fleetwood, and with USA Dustin Johnson taking third place just one stroke further back. This was Brooks Koepka third success on the Tour and placed him 4th in the World Rankings.

Lisbon young golfer Pedro Figueiredo gained his maiden Challenge Tour win in the KPMG Trophy held in Belgium from the 7th to the 10th of June. He was involved in a three way play-off against Anton Karlsson from Sweden and Stuart Manley from Wales. Pedro Figueiredo moved to 384th place in the World Rankings and 12th position in the Challenge Tour Rankings.

Finnish golfer Mikko Korhonen romped home in Vienna with a six stroke advantage over his nearest rival, Connor Syme from Scotland, In third place was Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts. With this maiden win on the Tour he moved to 110th position on the World Rankings and 35th place in the Race to Dubai.

Danish golfer Thorbjorn Olesen claimed his fifth victory on the Tour when he be finished one stroke less than his nearest rival home grown Francisco Molinari. In third position and one stroke more was England's Lee Slattery. Thorbjorn Olesen moved into 75th place in the World Ranking and 6th position in the Race to Dubai.

Italian golfer Francisco Molinari claimed victory in the PGA Championship on the Tour in Virginia Waters. He finished minus two strokes from Northern Ireland Rory McIlroy. One stroke further back was Lucas Bierrregaard from Denmark. This win was Francisco Molinari fifth on the Tour and placed him 20th in the World Rankings and third in the Race to Dubai.

Spanish golfer Adrian Olaegui won the Belgium Knockout on the Tour in Antwerp. This was the second win so far for Adrian Olaegui on the Tour and in the final he won against Frenchman Benjamin Hebert. This win placed him 78th place in the World Rankings and 16th in the Race to Dubai.

The previously 'Open de Portugal' has now been reconstituted as the 'Portugal Open' and moved from the European Tour over to the Challenge Tour.

The first of this lesser value competition was won by the Australian golfer Dimitrios Papadatos by two strokes from both local golfer Jose-Filipe Lima and France's Antoine Rozner. Dimitrios Papadatos moved to 230 position in the World Rankings and 207th in the Race to Dubai.

Alexander Bjork from Sweden claimed his maiden win on the Tour in China beating by one stroke Spanish golfer Adrian Otaegui. One stroke further back were a trio consisting of Jorge Campillo, Jordan Smith and Matt Wallace. Alexander Bjork moved to 73rd position in the World Rankings and 9th in the Race to Dubai.

French golfer Alexander Levy claimed his 5th victory on the Tour in Morocco beating a group of four golfers with them having just one stroke more. These were Alvaro Quiros, Alexander Bjork, Joakim Lagergren, Mikko Ilonen and Andrea Pavan. Alexander Levy moved to 47th position in the World Rankings and 8th in the Race to Dubai.

Local golfer Jon Rahm won his home Tour tournament in Madrid with a two stroke lead over Ireland's Paul Dunne. One stroke further back was fellow Spaniard Nacho Elvira. This was Jon Rahm's third win on the Tour and placed him fourth in the World Rankings and fifth in the Race to Dubai.

In an exciting last day Patrick Reed held his lead and his nerve to finish with one stroke advantage on his fellow American Rickie Jordan. Only one stroke further back was Jordan Spieth in third place. This was Patrick Reed's second win on the Tour and he thus moved to 11th position in the World Rankings.

Eddie Pepperell gained his maiden victory on the Tour when he finished three strokes less than fellow Englishman Oliver Fisher. In third place was Sweden's Marcus Kinhult who was one stroke further back. This win placed Eddie Pepperell in 92nd position in the World Rankings and 13th in the Race to Dubai.

Holland's Joost Luiten gained his 6th Tour title in Oman when he finished with two strokes in hand from Englishman Chris Wood. Julian Guerrier from France took third place with one further stoke, Joost Luiten move to 68th position in the World Rankings and ninth place in the Race to Dubai.

World Super Six - Lake Karrinyup - Perth - Australia - 8th to 11th February, 2018.

Thai golfer Kiradech Aphibarnrat won the special World Super Six event in Perth in a final against Australian James Nitties. This was Kiradech Aphibarnrat fourth win on the European Tour and placed him in 37th position in the World Rankings and 10th in the Race to Dubai.
