Outstanding golf course! Excellent design and very well maintained. Greens are in great condition and fast. Without doubt, one of the best courses in the Algarve. well worth a visit.

First time playing the course and it was excellent. Some great views on the coastal part of the course and some interesting and challenging holes. Great condition, pleasant staff and nice lunch on the clubhouse patio. Well worth a visit. Will look to play the sister course, Quinta da Cima next visit.

With a stellar reputation, the course at Monte Rei was unfortunately, very disappointing. Due to some recent terrible bush fires in the area, the course was protected by the staff by utilising the irrigation system extensively. Although the course was saved, the measures taken severly damaged the overall condition of the course. The staff, however, were excellent and we have been offered a complimentary return visit next year. The most disappointing aspect though is not being told of the condition prior to booking and being charged the full amount (€220 per person). Travelling to Monte Rei expecting a wonderful experience to be then greeted with a 5/10 course in terms of condition, is very annoying and extremely disappointing. Although I applaud the efforts of the staff in saving the course in what must have been very difficult circumstances, the facts should have been communicated to agents and individuals allowing a choice of whether to play at this time.

Condition of course was good, but having played at Vale do Lobo several times over the years, it did feel a little crowded and rushed, even though though not as busy as normal.

Good condition, fast greens and overall very good value. First tee time (8:00 a.m.) so no delays. Helpful and courteous staff.

Course has just re-opened and apart from the tee boxes being a little long and shaggy, the course was in excellent condition. Staff were very pleasant, so well worth a visit.

Very busy, so slow round. Good condition, but would like to play again when quieter. Interesting course - maybe a little over-priced though.

In my opinion, the best of the Dom Pedro courses. Played it many times and it has never disappoined both for condition and service. Excellent range of holes, long but playable and a good test for all abilities. Always the first course on my list whenever in Portugal.

Played it some years ago and found it better this time. Good value course in good condition.

Always a good starter course if you have several of the Dom Pedro courses booked on a golf trip. Good condition generally and worth a visit.
