It was quiet, with a fourball two flights away and another twoball in the middle, so we adjusted our speed and spent more time discussing course management etc :) Loved the water hazards, the greens were fast (good for me since I tend to keep them short) and sometimes difficult. Friendly people on hole 19 as well :) |

Wir haben die Löcher 1 - 9 und 10 - 18 gespielt. Landschaftlich vielseitig, überwiegend fehlerverzeihend aber in Teilen auch Anspruchsvoll. Wir kommen gern wieder. |

Pinhal on Thu, 14th Nov 2024 Pleasant Experience at Pinhal My wife and I played at Pinhal as the first game of a recent trip to Vilamoura. We have played there many times over the past decade or so, during which time the quality of the course has been variable, but this year was the best I've ever seen it. The greens were in great condition and the fairways were lush and well maintained. It is a credit to the greenstaff to present the course the way it is with the water supply restrictions affecting all courses on the Algarve. I would recommend the course to anyone planning to play in Vilamoura in the future. |

Millennium on Fri, 25th Oct 2024 Millennium A pleasant resort friendly layout saw largely generous fairways and options for aggressive or conservative approach play. Greens were in good condition - consistent and true, with reasonable speed. Generally the tees were not level. Fairways were in reasonable condition, although kikuyu infestation was obvious and failure to address will ultimately result in total kikuyu fairways in the future. We walked the course effortlessly and with groups in front of us, pace of play was reasonable at about 4 hours 20. |

Old Course on Thu, 24th Oct 2024 Beautiful golf course ! Beautiful golf course in really good condition, we loved it! Staff is really helpful with great hospitality. Although the Clubhouse is still under renovation they moved the recepction, restaurant and toilettes into a “containers”, which is fair enough, but food a bit limited. All in all, we really enjoyed the play but we think it is a bit overpriced. (520 Eur for 2 adults 1 junior) |

Old Course on Sat, 19th Oct 2024 Top course What a spectacular place. Range was good, tee-boxes, greens, fairways were in excellent shape. Even though the clubhouse was closed, the staff made our day perfect in every way. I would love to come back again. |

Old Course on Sat, 12th Oct 2024 Not very impressed Pre round. The club house was under renovation works so had to use a make shift clubhouse with little option for hot food. There was no putting green available before the round, the chipping green was very poor, the driving range facility was good. The tee time we took was 15:20 which didn’t give us enough time to finish the round with the early nights due to the compacted tee times, slow play and little management from the course officials. The course itself looked to be under a lot of upgrading, some greens looked patchy and teeboxs very worn. |

Old Course on Sun, 6th Oct 2024 Very enjoyable Disappointed that our visit coincided with the clubhouse refurbishment and therefore facilities limited although they are doing their best with portakabins and awnings. Complimentary and quality balls on the range a nice touch, as was the first drink, also complimentary from the buggy bar. Course layout excellent and in good condition overall. However a couple of the greens were suffering but this could be down to the water restrictions in place. Overall however, a very enjoyable days golf. |

Tees nd fairways in good condition but the greens with many pitch marks not repaired . Play was v slow over 4hrs nd 30 mins for our round with further annoyance of the oblivious players behind , continually either hitting through us or upto us , no course Marshall seen on our whole round . |

Old Course on Mon, 16th Sep 2024 Old course Cancelled this game as the greens were not fit for play. Managed to change to Milennium and got free buggies. Should have been advised by our agent, in advance, that the greens were badly damaged and been offered either a) Refund or b) alternative arrangement comparable with what we paid. |

Old Course on Mon, 16th Sep 2024 Old course Arrived at Old Course for our first game of the week only to be told that they have a problem with their greens. Apparently salt water was applied to the greens resulting in severe damage to almost all of the greens. As a gesture buggies were half price and 1 drink free from the buggy bar. This was totally inadequate compensation as we had still paid €159 per person to play a course which was not up to the required standard. |

Old Course on Mon, 15th Jul 2024 Old Course disappointed. The course facilities were under refurbishment and no notification was given in advance of the booking. The majority of the holes had noisy maintenance works carried out whilst playing. A number of greens were in poor condition. Overall a poor experience for one of the best courses in the area. |

Old Course on Fri, 12th Jul 2024 A nice forgiving course A nice setting that is much more forgiving than some of the other courses in the area. Many tree lined holes, with only a little water on this course, gives the impression of narrow tee shots, but you can have a real go from the tee at some of the holes here, the 18th being drivable for big hitters for instance, and if you're slightly wayward, you're still in play which is always nice. The par 3 4th hole is the stand out hole here. Beautiful. Once again we were very well looked after by staff here. There was some construction work going on around the course and we received a free drink to apologise for any interference. The work didn't cause us any problems but the gesture was nice and much appreciated. |

Pinhal on Mon, 8th Jul 2024 Pinhal Summer 2024 I have been coming to the Algarve to play golf for over 40yrs and have played Pinhal many times. It never was one of my favourite venues but I must say that over the 2 or 3 occasions I have played here it appears to get better every time. Well done to all the greens staff for making the difference. |
