Laguna Description

The 18 holes have been laid out over level ground and provide and with the exception of the eleventh and twelve that take the player around and over a lake. It has open fairways for the player with very few trees to present difficulties. The Laguna Course can be likened to some degree to the challenges that are provided by a normal Links course. However, there are many water hazards with strategically placed bunkers in open terrain. These factors combined with the occasional strong wind make for an interesting round.

First time playing the course since its revamp, and I have to say I’m genuinely impressed. The new grass has made the rough much more challenging, but that’s no issue as the course remains very user‑friendly overall. The buggy paths are now finished in beautiful fresh tarmac, and the buggies themselves are in pristine condition. The only notable omission is the lack of GPS yardage systems in the buggies, which are standard on many higher‑end courses in the region. Nonetheless, the overall upgrades have clearly enhanced the golfing experience, and I look forward to returning.
