Quirky but lovely

Love the 'small mountain village' type feel of the golf resort. Absolutely fantastic views out over the fairways from high up. They looked after us well there too. Very friendly and helpful. The course is really quirky. There are some genuinely fantastic holes and some utterly baffling ones (the par 5 (2nd or 11th depending on 1st or 10th tee start) with its multiple landing areas is utterly bewildering to play on the first occasion. Would be far easier 2nd time around, knowing where to go. Definitely a course of two halves, with the high hilly part of the back 9 (we started on the 10th) being both interesting and confusing to play. Overall a lovely course though, with true greens, nice fairways and lush grass. Very happy to play it.

This was one of the best golf courses I have played in the Algarve! First, now it is very fun, but challenging; I lost a lot of balls, but it's a great course! The back 9 is a little easier but very enjoyable. The professional team was very welcoming, and the food was amazing! Recommend the club sandwich!
