Silves Golf Description

We offer discount golf rates for the 18 hole Silves Golf Course situated near to the town of Silves. This is the latest course belonging to the Pestana Group and is surrounded by typical Algarve fruit orchards and small farms. The course has been designed to test the quality in hitting a well directed ball using the correct choice of club. This point is immediately emphasised as you stand on the first tee faced by two water hazards flanking the fairway. The course has been described as designed for attacking play whilst the bunkers are well placed to cause possible trouble to the big hitters.

Lovely course would love to play again. Downside just the length of play some 4 balls think 18 holes should take. 4 hours today ! Played Grimacho last week, 3hours 30minutes. Note too all, if you cannot score just pick getting a 8,9 or 10 putting out slows things up. Also it’s 3minutes too look for a ball !! Not 5 or 10!. Be aware of those behind you, we all want too enjoy but at the expense of ignorance.
