His immediate aim is to be one of the top 5 at the end of the season to qualify for the Challenge Tour. Inder, and former Dutch and German Amateur title-holder, is also making an attempt at the main PGA European Tour qualifying-school. Another Vilamoura golf school ex-pupil is Ricardo Santos who has had a good year in European competitions. He scored 66 in the opening qualifying round of the British Amateur over St. Andrews Old Course and made the match-play stage - but lost in the 2nd round. In early August he won the Swiss Amateur by 7 strokes with a 15-under-par score of 273, establishing a course record of 65 in the last round. This win entitled him to participate in the Omega European Masters from 2nd – 5th September.
