Salgados on Wed, 30th Apr 2025 No golfset available while booked Today we booked through Algarvegolf/teetimes a flight for 2 people. When we arrived we were told that they were no clubs available. Through algarvegolf they asked for the 10 euro upgrade for Calaway. Also that was not available. So we had to return to hotel and we couldnt play golf on our last day. Now the crazy thing comes. When we were back after half hour driving in our hotel we got the message that they can arrange a golfset in half hour. We refused it because than we can drive back again and we have other plans in the evening. This has cost a day of our holiday and not even that someone says sorry. Salgados on Tue, 1st Apr 2025 Great greens, lots and lots of water Lovely club house set in very nice area. The course is tough, water on almost every hole, some narrow drives as well, little rest bite from trouble, this is not a course for a high handicap golfer who is wayward. They just completed a lot of drainage work so there was some rough areas on fairways, but in a few weeks these will be gone, greens were the best we played, fair, true and like carpets |

Salgados on Wed, 12th Mar 2025 Beautiful Complex Layout of course is very good and fun . At the moment course is not in great condition because of new drainage system but you can see it will be. Greens are very good . Club house is fantastic and all employees are very welcoming. Looking forward to playing again in September |

Balaia on Wed, 5th Mar 2025 It should be a very challenging par 3 course but†I am very disappointed that this course had some issues today: 1. driving range closed for 5 weeks 2. hole 1 closed, under construction 3. hole 7 and 9 were adjusted ((shortened) and you had to figure that out yourself 4. No adjustment greenfee |

Salgados on Tue, 11th Feb 2025 Salgardos course work Major work in progress so we’re limited to playing the same 9 holes twice. There was still a lot of unfinished work around the course, mainly turfing over new pipe work and drainage, it just looked a bit scruffy. The Greens were good but they have the same problems as the rest of the Algarve (Golfers not repairing pitch marks and divots) They say that all work will be finished by the 1st March I wish them well with that date. |

Salgados on Wed, 29th Jan 2025 Value for.money indeed Course was undergoing severe maintenance which is understandable so it was a bit of a mess. Greens were great though. Price for the 18 holes . .had to.play the back 9 twice . .was only €35 each which included the buggy so perfect for a practice round. €10 for the golf basically! Once it matures and gets sorted it will be good again. Clubhouse is nice . . .worth a visit when it's back to normal |

Salgados on Sun, 24th Nov 2024 Driving Range a negative We like the course. Shame there is just a tiny Driving Range where one even has to use its own balls shooting into the net. All other facilities very nice. Very friendly rangers (esp. the one guy that had been a cook befor, very professional and friendly). Fair Green Fee one has to state as well. |

Salgados on Sat, 2nd Nov 2024 Course was excellent, very good condition and ideal level of challenge for our 4 ball, only disappointment was to be told we could not have buggies we had pre reserved. There had been rain over night. The course had a path the buggies could have kept to all the way around. Especially annoyed when the course marshall/caddie master was driving a buggy all over the course. |

Salgados on Thu, 24th Oct 2024 Guests loved it.😊 Took 3 others who had never played it before who loved it ( 2 off single figure handicaps ) i hadn’t played it for 11 years , very good condition and very picturesque , well organised and a good pace of round , 4 hours exactly for a 4 ball in Portugal is pretty good. |

I brought my son here as he’s a real beginner and based on everybody else playing there that day I’d say that’s what it caters for. But particularly cheap but to be fair it had 2 or 3 very nice holes on it and the greens were pretty decent. Friendly little clubhouse with reasonable prices bar/restaurant. Definitely not the place for serious golfers but good for what it is. |

Salgados on Wed, 31st Jul 2024 Highly recommended Highly recommend this course for any ability of golf you have, I play off a 17 handicap some holes are trickery than others but in general a nice and amazingly beautiful course, amazing setting. Algarve golf.net took care of everything for me and unbelievably quick. Be prepared to spend a bit more money on balls,glove,tees unless you have been clever and brought your own. 5 stars all day long |

A well maintained, interesting and challenging course (especially the Par 5's when the wind gets up) with water on every hole. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too.
