Pine Cliffs on Thu, 16th Mar 2023 An enjoyable round at Pinecliff Nice course for casual round. Course was in decent shape and greens were very consistent. The pace of play and the cross over were quick. Golf shoes are mandatory or rent from the pro shop. Course was busy but not full. Will play again if we have time. |

Pine Cliffs on Sun, 5th Mar 2023 Great experience Played pine cliffs yesterday. Really enjoyed the round even though there was some sanding work going on the greens. Short compact course ideal for walking with trolley. Staff member on first and 9th tee acting as starter was friendly and welcoming. Will be back sometime in future |

Salgados on Fri, 3rd Mar 2023 Room for improvement on the organisational side Way too busy... It's simply not okay to have a flight every five minutes, without any handicap requirements, and then just keep it going. Took as just under five hours... Also, the absence of a driving range... The course itself is very nice and challenging though so definitely worth a visit. |

Pine Cliffs on Tue, 28th Feb 2023 beautiful 9holes with view on the sea 4 golfers in february: nice golf course, with nice views on the sea across the pines; some wait before the devil hole, but it worth it; we were desapointed to find the bar closed at 5 pm, when we finished our round; we will come back |

Balaia on Tue, 28th Feb 2023 nice and tricky compact golf course 4 golfers in february: balaia is a nice and tricky compact golf course; it is not a high std, but it is fun; it is not easy to understand the map of the différent holes; we should take great care of other golfers because fairways crossed each others; beautiful garden and clubhouse |

Pine Cliffs on Mon, 27th Feb 2023 Once in a lifetime, you have to play this course. Good service and friendly persons. Greens were very difficult because of the stimp. Bunkers were also difficult to play becauae of the bad maintenance. |

Salgados on Sat, 18th Feb 2023 Water, water, water!!!!!! Played in February after there had been a large amount of rain over night which made conditions soft. Some interesting holes that really required you to think your way around to avoid the water. The course was very flat. |

Salgados on Thu, 9th Feb 2023 Course was challenging and overall in very good condition. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They even lent us a range finder so we could take our distance in yards. Really the only complaint was the rental clubs. They were older models and not even cleaned. My driver had something loose in the head and the shaft. All and all it was a good experience. |

Pine Cliffs on Wed, 2nd Nov 2022 Don't think its easy. Although a nine hole course it offered enough challenges to make it an interesting couple of hours. Some the par 3's lure you in but often come back to bite you if you are wayward from the tee. The first cut rough is partucularly challenging enter that at your peril and dont get too cute trying to get out. The signature hole over the ravine is a not as challenging as it looks but very picturesque. Restaurant staff were very good and food and drinks reasonably priced. |

Salgados on Wed, 2nd Nov 2022 A trial with nature A challenging course with a lot of water hazards and the day i played a brisk breeze blowing in off the sea. Its layout and location make the beach side course unique and its landscaped tree lioned holes add extra spice to the holes. I have to say the staff were excellent and the tee times were arranged perfectly to avoid hold ups on the course. A very enjoyable day and we will be back. |

Balaia on Sun, 30th Oct 2022 No rules, no limit, the power of money We tried to play this nice and compact course. But there was no marshall to eject the group of young guys who were completely drunk ! Moreover they could buy more beers to take away with them on the course. |

Balaia on Wed, 26th Oct 2022 Pretty short course A well kept, pretty short course, great for those without a handicap but still has some challenges for the more experienced player. Staff are friendly and helpful. There were plenty of tee times available throughout the time we went (October half term). There is also a a small driving range. |

Salgados on Sat, 15th Oct 2022 Challenging, Course but waste of Drinking Hackers Well presented and challenging. Greens pretty good, given the ‘traffic’. Some very poor golfers with less than satisfactory etiquette on the course. I would have been upset if I had been asked to share a round with them. |

Pine Cliffs on Tue, 4th Oct 2022 Pine Cliffs Course is ok but short and expensive for 9 holes. Shocking charges for a pull cart which was a basic pull trolley. Bottle water expensive as well clearly not encouraging folk to return |

Pine Cliffs on Fri, 30th Sep 2022 Pine Cliffs Golf Club I was a single lady golfer (with caddy husband) and a 12 handicap. I hired clubs and trolley came free. I booked 18 holes and was out with two different groups for each nine, two lovely French ladies then three lovely Norwegian gents. The course is very attractive and suitable for all golfers as nice wide clear fairways with stunning pine trees, palms and cactii. Very pretty course and not too many hazards. The Devil's Parlour is a great hole, from back tees a 191yd carry, from yellow tees an impressive 7iron on to the green over the gorge. Take time to soak up the views...awesome! Downside...was not offered lockers so had to carry bag for whole round. There were a lot of pitch marks on green not Clubs fault but selfish golfers. It was never going to be a fast round and this was not really a negative as we were prepared for that. All in all, delighted to tick off this course...if back in area will definitely play again. |

Salgados on Tue, 27th Sep 2022 Good, but not great! Cons - 1. hire clubs are dross. Miss match set sling together. 2. Woman handing out buggies/clubs was miserable 3. Course a little scruffy in some areas Pros: 1. It’s a really enjoyable course with some nice holes 2. It is a proper holiday golfers course. The marketing hook to get you to play is “oohh look at all this water”, when in reality, it’s never really in play apart from a short par 3 early on the back 9 which is all over water. The course is very generous off the tee, so you’ll have to be pretty wild to lose a load of balls 3. Because it’s so generous off the tee, you play a lot of shots/2nd shots off the fairway and even when you stray it’s not too penal. Couple this with big greens (although they are pretty undulating) - you can score well, which also makes you feel good coming off the course! 4. It was really, really busy with huge groups going out, but the pace of play was actually good and I got around in 4hrs having teed off at 8.40am 5. Pace of play is helped by the fact it’s hard to lose your ball so people aren’t searching. The only trouble is water, so if you’re in it, it’s drop and go. |

Pine Cliffs on Tue, 27th Sep 2022 Such a great 9 hole course Absolutely stunning 9 hole course, with not a single bad hole. The par 3 over the Cliffs and the view are just incredible. Nice easy walk as well and 9nholes completed in 1.5 hours. Great test and even better visually. Excellent facilities as well |

Balaia on Mon, 26th Sep 2022 Nice par3 short game practice Nice short Par 3, 9 hole course offers good short game practice and beginners golf. Would not suit golfers looking for full round golf. Not too busy when I played and course / greens in good condition. I would book and play Balaia again for short game practice. |

Salgados on Wed, 21st Sep 2022 Salgado golf Greens are cord and very sandy. Clubhouse lacks a bit of atmosphere. Facilities were good however no choice in club hire all regular shaft stiffness. Were told someone was joining our 3 ball and instead he went out on his own before us and we were playing behind 1 person all through the round. Beer was good and cheap and the coolers were useful, could of done with a cart on the course at times far away from club house for both bathrooms and drinks. |

Salgados on Mon, 19th Sep 2022 Salgados Decent layout to course and very flat but condition of tees and greens not great due to drought and amount of use it’s had this season. Tees and greens scabby with lots of pitch mark damage and lack of water. Luckily two partners were regulars and showed us the way. Lots of water hazards which due to the drought were mainly mud. |

Balaia on Mon, 19th Sep 2022 Balaia golf course average condition Overall the course condition was not so great. Some of the red tee were missing, and the layout post were not too clear for first timer. We booked 8:18 tee off, but the office didn’t open until that time. We also booked the clubs, but one of the bags didn’t have the strap ( it was broken), and I had to carry the bag for the entire game. |

Pine Cliffs on Mon, 19th Sep 2022 Greens were in poor condition and it took 2hr 20mins for 9 holes, waiting on every shot. €64 for a round without a buggy on a course of that caliber just isn’t value for money in my opinion. Also drinks from the bar are soooo expensive. |

Salgados on Sun, 18th Sep 2022 Fun course requiring careful club/shot selection Fun course, with plenty of variety in holes. Unfortunately the greens had recently been treated, so putting surfaces were poor. Well organised course, but no driving range only a large net and practice chipping and putting areas. Would be a tough course on a very windy day, given there’s water on many holes. |
