on Thu, 12th Oct 2023 Greens good but fairways have no grass Probably would be a nice course if there was grass on the fairway. First hole a perfect drive straight down middle for it to keep rolling all way down into the rocks . Not how you want to start. Playing partner hit straight down middle of fairway on 3 other holes and because it was so sparse it was like a pin ball machine a nd the ball nowhere to be seen. Also very long walk between holes. |

on Mon, 2nd Oct 2023 Autumn outing to the Algarve We loved this course and returned having played it last year. The tees and greens were lovely but the fairways were burned to a crisp. The lake by the 1st was empty and dry as a bone, as were all the streams and ponds even the reservoir, I think it's by the 9th was completely empty. I pray the the coming months bring rain to the Algarve. |

on Mon, 18th Sep 2023 Alamos Great course, greens were the best we've played on! Staff were helpful and made it easy for us. Excellent practice area and lovely course to play. Would suggest buggies are a must, quite hilly and few holes was a distance between green to next tee box. Very pleased with our visit. |

on Wed, 12th Jul 2023 Alamos Review. If I could give it less I would. The staff are really nice there but that's about it. The course is by far the worst I've ever in my life played. The fairways were like concrete and not a patch of grass on them. The golf clubs we hired are the same clubs from 6 years ago. Absolutely brutal. |

on Thu, 8th Jun 2023 Empfehlenswert. Etwas herausfordernd, aber gut zu spielen. Es war eine sehr entspannte Runde, denn es sehr wenig Betrieb. Viele bevorzugen den Morgado Course, der Alamos steht ihm aber in nichts nach. Cart empfehlenswert. |

on Sat, 25th Feb 2023 Shocking One of the worst golf experiences I have ever had! Firstly it is way over priced for what you get, the clubs they give you for rental are 30 years old and itâs not a complete set. Secondly, the play is so slow and nobody lets you through, would have easily been a 5 hour round and thirdly the staff there are so rude! I would never come here again and I wouldnât recommend it to anyone. |

on Tue, 27th Dec 2022 December golf Course in great condition, friendly service and a lovely environment. The distances between holes are the longest I have ever seen, I would not play here without a buggy. It was fun to play and getting a good deal (two players buggy 1 set for just under 200 euros) means I am not disappointed, even though ithe course is not that special. |

on Sat, 17th Dec 2022 Very challenging course, with beautiful scenery Very challenging course, with beautiful scenery. Because the holes are very forgiveness as long as you stay on the fairway. Outside the fairways you canât find your ball anymore, because of high grass and low growing butter flowers. |

on Tue, 25th Oct 2022 Better courses out there Quite a forgiving course for a casual golfer but my god its a trek. No buggies available when we played and felt like miles between holes. Play a bit rushed and generally the course was a bit too busy. We got teamed up with another 2-ball which I suppose is common but we paid a fortune for the experience with green fees, club & trolley hire so we should have been given the choice. No where near as organized as other courses and felt like they were just getting as many round as they could. Sorry wouldn't play there again. |

on Sat, 17th Sep 2022 Still playable after very long summer You have to take into consideration the drought that this area has experience this year in particular. Yes the majority of the fairways were burnt and without grass but you could not fault the greens or tee boxes which the course openly says they have to prioritise as both dams are dry The course has the felling of being quite compared to others due to the design itâs a pity we did not get the chance to play in its glory as some of the holes would have been stunning. |

on Wed, 29th Jun 2022 3 old gits and a young one back in the Algarve We love this course, actually far more that its sister course, Morgado. Alamos has some interesting holes, the views of the Monchique mountains are lovely, it's a challenge for medium and high handicaps, and it's usually very quiet (because most visitors to the region opt for Morgado. They don't know what they're missing! |

on Wed, 30th Mar 2022 ? Bitte nur mit Buggy wenn man nicht gut zu Fuss ist. on Mon, 27th Sep 2021 Alamos not at its best The course was in poor condition and I found the buggy paths a problem. I have a knee injury which means I need a buggy and with the âentrance â to the fairway the best part of 200m from the . This meant I had to walk some considerable distance on each hole. I admit I didnât ask if I could have a blue flag ( I have had this previously at Boavista) which would have allowed me more access to the fairway. I have played Alamos before and the set up was different and the course was in much better condition- not sure I would go back |
