We‘ll play again though it has very short holes, that makes it less challenging. However: no chance for a warm up, as there is no driving area and a ridiculously small putting green. That‘s the only disadvantage. |

After being told to come back closer to our tee time in order to hire buggies, we were then informed there were none available. Out on the course we walked in after 9 holes as it had taken 3 hours! No course marshal, and no interest from anybody in the professional shop when we explained the situation. Awful experience. |

Lucky I had a mask with me but the smoke still got through. Our clothes still smelled of smoke when we got back to our lodgings. |

Nevertheless, we start with the positive parts: - great greens, extremely difficult, but in very good condition - nice course in general Negative parts: - unfortunately all the staff (including starter, ladies at the entrance, bartenders) was not friendly, not helpful and even impatiently) - at the first 9 holes there was constantly a tough smell and smoke coming from a factory - fairways were not in a perfect condition - there is NO driving range, one putting green is in a bad condition —> in general the course is OK but it is definitely not worse the price in comparison to other (close around!) courses. We would not come here again. |

We gave up after 13 holes having taken nearly 4 hours to that point due to slow play in front. Nice club house. |

Fortunately there was an alternative T time available so we still got to play. Course generally in very good condition with only a couple of greens needing closer attention. Some challenging holes with big elevation changes, wide fairways so driver can be used without fear. I hope to play it again one day. |

Off the course I would suggest that the prices in the clubhouse are too high. I was at the old course the following day and ordered a large coke Zero. it was 3.5euros. A medium (small in my view) coke Zero at Silves was 5 euros. |

Beautiful club house BUT very disappointed as when finished our round at 6.20 pm and went in for a drink and sit on the deck to enjoy the view we were told they had closed the bar early (not meant to close till 7 pm) as the staff had to go and work at the Gramacho course. |

The greens consistent. Compared with a few years ago the course got easier due to cleaning up a lot of the rough. I like Silves. After my relocation to The Algarve later this year, I join either Silves or Espiche as my home course. |

We showed them all of the booking vouchers and confirmation of payment. After some time a manager turned up and spoke to someone on the phone and they arranged for us to play. In the end It was all a rather rushed experience the course was clearly overwhelmed with too many people and was a long day of queues |

Staff were really friendly and helpful and there is a really nice bar and restaurant facility. The course was also great for spotting local bird life. Our only slight frustration was that the bar did close about 19.00 so was not open for people who were starting on twilight tee times. |

on Mon, 16th May 2022 Nice Enjoyed everything about this - the staff at the shop were super friendly and helpful, good modern clubs (though graphite shafts on the irons may not be to everyone's taste). The clubhouse was neat and compact with nice view over the 18th hole. The course was in great condition with some tricky long par threes. A number of elevated tees give a great vista of the course, the views from the 13th and 14th tees were spectacular. Quite a distance between some greens and next tees which made having a buggy a real benefit. |

The course has several nice holes, but the par three holes are too difficult for average golfers. Three of them are uphill, between 170-195 meters. Not enjoyable! |
