JJW Cup 2019
Thu, 1st Aug 2019 The 'JJW CUP 2019' will take place from the 25th to the 27th of October on the Sao Lorenzo course and the Pinheiros Altos course. Entry fee per golfer is from € 520.00 which includes three nights accommodation at the Dona Filipa Hotel in Vale do Lobo plus extras. |

JJW Golf Cup - 2019
Sun, 17th Mar 2019 From the 25th to the 27th of October the JJW Hotel and Golf Resorts will be holding their JJW Cup for 2019. Participant Fee is € 770.50 which includes 3 nights accommodation in the Dona Filipa Hotel, a Practice Round on the first day, a round on the San Lorenzo Course and a round on the Pinheiros Altos Course. Also included is two lunches and a dinner. |

Algarve Pro Golf Tour 2016/17 - Ricardo Santos
Tue, 13th Dec 2016 San Lorenzo Classic I - San Lorenzo Course - Algarve - 8th December, 2016. Ricardo Santos won the Algarve Pro Tour at San Lorenzo by one stroke from Englishmen Sam Buss and David Dixon. In third place was another English golfer Adam Chapman with one further stroke. |

Fri, 1st Jan 2016 Ricardo Santos received a much needed boost to his golfing confidence with his narrow one shot win on the 17th December at the San Lorenzo Classic in the Algarve after he lost his card on the main tour. This was a hard fought win over his fellow countryman and prolific APGT winner Tiago Cruz in an exciting finish. |

Sun, 1st Jun 2008 After an absence of some six years Hotel Dona Filipa & San Lorenzo Golf Course has welcomed back the 'Husbands & Wives' Golf Tournament. The Stableford competition at San Lorenzo golf course, over the 6th to 10th May, received a total of 42 players. The winners, Mr and Mrs Peter Samuel, who are members at Hankley Common Golf Club in Surrey, have competed in the Husbands & Wives competition for the first time. Their winning score of 167 Stableford points was achieved over 72 holes and four rounds of the competition. |

Wed, 1st Aug 2007 The San Lorenzo Course provided their golf course to hold a charity event organised in aid of the Associacao Oncologica do Algarve for its Casa Flor das Dunas project. A total of 93 players took part and G. Sloan won the men's prize with 40 Stableford points, followed closely by J. Cavell on 39. Two ladies, Janet Kaye and Judy McDowell tied the lead with first place going to the former after a count-back. |

Wed, 1st Sep 2004 The final of the UK's Lombard annual golf tournament takes place at San Lorenzo from 4th-6th September - played by sixteen amateur finalists and their professional partners. Quinta da Boavista is hosting a charity tournament on 11th September to raise funds for the Lagos Voluntary Fire Department and victims of the serious wildfires that have raged throughout the Algarve over the past couple of years. |
