Disappointed, by the quality of the greens, The Royal course’s crown has definitely slipped, so many pitch marks not repaired and greens keepers seem unable to keep up with it, on one hole there was a JCB digger parked in a bunker, definitely not what I was expecting for my money. The course is a series of holes linked by footpaths that run through an estate, it isn’t really one golf course at all, there are better out there for similar money..
