Vale Do Lobo Resort Description
The Vale do Lobo Golf & Holiday Resort is located is within easy reach of the Faro Airport. Covering a large area the resort offers a choice of luxurious self-catering holiday accommodation. The Resort provides a selection of 25 different sports in which to engage which includes an active Tennis Academy with 14 courts and two Championship golf courses.
There are 100 holiday units to rent which cover one, two and three bedroom apartments, with or without a hot tub or pool. There is also a selection of three and four bedroom villas for holiday rent offering different levels of luxury.
Guests can enjoy a choice of 15 restaurants and bars most of which are in the Vale do Lobo 'Praca' by the beach. Cuisine there varies from French to Italian or a fresh seafood speciality. Many of these restaurants also provide light lunches and snacks. At the Tennis Academy there is a gourmet Chinese restaurant and the Golf Club has a bar and restaurant.
There is also a special Spa offering tailored Wellness treatments, spinning and yoga sessions, and with a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre. The Shopping Centre has a beauty salon, art gallery, newsagent, several boutiques, and the Resort reception which is manned 24 hours.
At the 'Praca' there is free use of the seasonal 'Rotunda' pool, open from June to September. A supermarket and bank is to be found at the entrance to the Resort. For guests convenience there is a free internal circuit bus and security patrols. Younger guests can be entertained at the Kangaroo Club which has an indoor pool and a playground. There is free Wi-Fi and a special free luggage storage facility.
The two fine and challenging 18-hole golf courses, the Royal and the Ocean, are both located within the resort area.
