Quinta do Lago Golden Tournament 2019
Thu, 1st Aug 2019 In November of 2019 the Quinta do Lago Resort will be holding their 'Golden Tournament 2019' from 23rd to the 30th of November. Five rounds will be played, two rounds on the Laranjal Course, two rounds on the Quinta do Lago South Course and one round on the Quinta do Lago North Course. Entry fees per golfer are € 463.00. |

There swill be six days of competition finishing with a Gala Dinner and prize giving on the 30th of December. Entry Fee is from € 789.00 per golfer for the six days of competition. |

Quinta do Lago - Junior Open
Sat, 16th Mar 2019 The Quinta do Lago Resort will be holding a 'Junior Open' for promising young golfers up to the age of 18 years. There will be five distinctive categories depending on the players age. This event will be held from the 28th to the 29th of December, 2019. Telegraph Vitality Junior Golf Championship
Sun, 19th Nov 2017 Telegraph Vitality Junior Championship - North Course - Quinta do Lago - Almancil Algarve - 10th November, 2017. The Championship was won by a 14 year old golfer named Max Hopkins. He posted scores of 71, 72 and 71 beating his nearest competitor Ben Jones by three strokes. |

McGinley Junior Cup
Thu, 6th Jul 2017 For the fifth year the McGinley Junior Cup will be held on the North Course in Quinta do Lago on the 2nd to the 4th of August. This annual event is open to boys and girls up to the age of 18 years and costs € 65.00 to enter. The winner will receive a wild-card for the BMW Junior Golf Championship to be held on the same course on the 9th to the 11th in November 2017. |

Wed, 1st Jul 2015 The Quinta do Lago held on the North Course the 2015 'McGinley Junior Cup' open to all golfers up to the age of 18 years old. The winner was awarded a wild card to the BMW Junior Championships in October from the 12th to the 17th also being held on the North Course. |

Fri, 1st Nov 2013 The Quinta do Lago North Course will be closing as from the 18th of November for a period of about 12 months whilst some reconstruction and improvements in maintenance are implemented. The Quinta do Lago South Course will continue operating as normal. |

Thu, 1st Aug 2013 Paul McGinley, the next Ryder Cup Captain for Europe holds regular open-air golf clinics at his state-of-the art Academy at Quinta do Lago. Jose Ferreira heads the everyday running of the academy. The latest addition is the TaylorMade Fitting Centre and the first one of its kind in Portugal. After your swing has been analysed, the golfer is fitted out with a bespoke set of clubs that take account of the individual quirks and enable players to hit the ball just that little bit farther and straighter. All professional golfers have fitted clubs as a matter of course and extending this same technology to amateurs has many benefits. |
