4th time playing on this trip and 6th overall and I have to say I love this course. It’s not a bombers track but the small greens, well placed bunkering and elevated greens make it a good test of golf. Some of the locals are a bit strange and unfriendly, probably frustrated at holiday golfers on their course but that’s where the money comes from. Could do with a drinks cart assuming there isn’t one as I’ve never seen one. The greens are in excellent condition and so quick compared to the ones back home. The terrace at the clubhouse overlooking the 18th approach and green is excellent and the beer very welcome!This will always be my go to when travelling to Alvor.
