Had the best greens of our 2024 tour, playable course, with a good layout. Greens were receptive, Easter Special price was a bonus. Would recommend for a golf tour.

Millennium course
The course was in wonderful condition. I was paired with three Irishmen who were a joy to play with. The staff from the Millennium corse complex were polite and courteous (& friendly) throughout my visit. I would recommend a visit without hesitation

Interesting Course in good condition
Contrary to Laguna in the same area, Course is in good condition.

Buggy with €55 to expensive, same Price as on QDL but less comfortable seats and no water, GPS, cleaning box for balls and clubs.

Amazing course
An amazing course played it again , fairways nd greens immaculate, only sore point was the slow play of the ppl in front of us , nearly 5hrs for the round 😞

Millennium
Millennium is an interesting course with a real mixture of holes the first 9 is pretty solid then it’s a bit more user friendly overall condition was good for the time of year (Jan).

I would always put Millennium in my top 3 in Vilamoura.

Pleasant and fair course
Nice layout and good condition. Greens could have been a bit faster. We were a three ball flight and had to wait sometimes. Overall 4 hours 15 minutes was fine for us.

Nice Course Good Condition
Having previously played Victoria we tried Millennium and enjoyed the layout and condition. Friendly staff and good range and practice putting area.

Reason for 3/5 rating is that after the round it was difficult to remember all the holes. Some of the holes simply aren’t memorable.

Autumn outing to the Algarve
As always, in spite of the horrendously long dry Summer, the course was immaculate. We anticipated a long round and that's exactly what we had, but when the sun is shining, nothing seems quite so bad, even a 5 hour round.

Better than expected
Font nine are as good as everything on the Algarve, back nine are not the same quality. But overall fun to play, very good condition. For me better as some of the well known courses at Val de Lobo and Quinta, not as good as Victoria.

Good course
Very nice course and good layout along with tricky holes, only downside is that the refreshments cart could come round quicker especially with the heat to allow golfers to buy cold drinks and water.

Millennium is good
Not played the Millennium for quite a long time so was pleasantly surprised by the good condition it was in.

Could not fault any part of the venue and will have no problem returning again in the future

An old stand-by
Never know whether to rate 3 or 4. There's nothing to complain about other than the dryish fairways. It's a very playable course and is one of 3 Dom Pedro courses we play on every visit to the Algarve (with Old Course and Victoria).

Beautiful course, greens in great condition , 4 hour round as a 2 ball taking our time, not held up and not stuck behind anyone. First 8 holes are very picturesque.

Tricky Greens
I enjoyed playing this course, although the men in the group didn't. The greens are very tricky, which was a challenge I enjoyed. Course is probably due a little TLC.

Played this for a second time and was great. Paths, fairways and greens in excellent condition. Greens true and very fast.

Staff let the place down as they where not very welcoming and grumpy.

Millennium Vilamoura review
Millennium in lovely condition especially when compared to adjacent Laguna course. Only incident was the disintegration of one of the plastic wheels of the trolley I'd hired. The member I played with said it was a fairly common event.

I wouldn't rave about this one but it was in good condition. As it is a relatively straightforward course, if you are looking for a slightly easier 'day out' you may wish to consider.

It's a course we enjoy, as it's not particularly difficult and since flat, is good for walking. As with so many courses at the moment, it's often hard as a rock around the greens, with mostly decent fairways and greens. Courses are fully booked and it shows.

Disappointment
The course is becoming a bit untidy - so needs an upgrade like Laguna urgently.

My main complaint is the length of time that it takes to play the Dom Pedro courses. Course rangers really need training in this area. Whilst all the players are on holiday, the ones that take 4.5 hours to play are spoiling the fun for the vast majority who play in 4 hours or less. Something has to be done!

Too expensive.
Course is in good condition but the fee of 144 Euros is much too high. Several friends say they will never book golf trips to this area again.

3.5 stars not 4 !, course in reasonable condition but we all thought the tees were not in a good condition, too small and too many divots. Forgiving course as hard to lose a ball. Greens ok, but a bit patchy in places. Slow play not policed, the group two in front of us lost 2 holes and they were in buggies whilst we walked.

Very poor greens with lots of pitch marks, some tees were full of weeds. Told to come 20 minutes prior to tee time for a buggy only to be told none available then on the 10th buggy available but charged full rate. Not customer friendly

A fair test for most players
A nice course in reasonable condition although scruffy in places. Greens were good, recently top dressed etc. A fair test for mid handicaps and above for all ages. Lower handicap players might want a sterner test. Use a buggy if you can.

Nice course. Having played the course many years ago returning to hear was a good experience. However, on the day we played (Friday) it was exceptionally busy. The course is not in the Old Course or Victoria quality. The service we received was fantastic though. Good for intermediates.

Perfect starter course for a week long trip. Good conditions overally, greens a little spongy at the end of the day but not too bad. The clubhouse staff could be a little nicer.

Had a early tee time so got there early only to find the. Course didn’t open till 07:00 and driving range didn’t open till 07:30

Front nine was spectacular and back nine seemed to be playing a different course but it was still in great condition

It’s grand
Not overly impressive for the money you pay. Tee boxes weren’t cut and the grass was a long as the semi rough. Practice area wasn’t open until 9am for what seemed like no reason. Back nine is in poor condition. Overall I’d say it an average course, some really nice holes but nothing to write home about tbh.

Overrated
Average at best. Greens were great but aside from that the course was tired. Signage, scrub areas in fairways and approaches, tee boxes not cut as well as shop and other staff being transactional made for a very average experience.

I emailed 2 weeks in advance and welcomed playing with members or other guests as I was alone but still needed up playing alone and awkwardly played through groups who kindly let me through.

Not a hard course either and will never recommend it.

For the price it was a bad experience and Blue Sky Golf clubs were not as expected either.

Expected a lot
Was a bit disappointed with this one, bunkers had no sand in and was like hitting off concrete, some people of the fairways were patchy and not the best looking. The only thing I could say positive about the place was the greens, really quick and tricky if you had to putt across them

A poor relation to its premium colleagues.
Played here earlier today and despite being told by the starter that we would thoroughly enjoy it, I think his comments were overstored. Compared to its premium colleagues (Old Course and Victoria) I thought that Millenium was a tad disappointing and certainly not worth the £100 we paid. Furthermore the buggies were 50 Euro's and don't even have satnav! Not one I would recommend and I suggest that you pay a little more and go with the either of the premium courses.

On the morning of my tee time, my wife tested positive for Covid 19. Millenium (Dom Pedro) said tough luck ... you're on your own with your insurance company. I'll never book with a Dom Pedro course again.

Amazing greens, but course in need of maintenance.
Phenomenal greens, quick & true, a proper test of putting. Holes 3 to 7 are beautiful, with some quite simply stunning properties overlooking that part of the course. Played early March, and unlike the other courses we visited, it wasn’t in the condition I expected it to be. Patchy fairways, tree roots growing in the bunkers, and general course signage in need of some repair and maintenance.

A good, fair course for all levels of play
My first time at Millenium - really enjoyed the generous fairways (villas are quite well distanced) and the greens were quick and tricky!

This is the kind of course that will suit all players
