3rd visit to the Old Course over the past 3 years. This is a beautiful course, not long so course management is the key to a good score. Umbrella pines line every hole and will punish a bad shot, but the course is not unfair with plenty of fairway to hit. A mini Augusta in my mind.

A lovely place to play golf, fairways can be a bit soft in places, and the course is very tight in places with very small margins for error. A little unfair sometimes, and a bad shot is always punished. Would never turn up the opportunity to play here. Allow plenty of time for a drink after as it probably has the best club house in the area.

Great greens, nowhere near as bad as some reports Ive seen. Greens have a decent pace and roll, fairways are dry. A good choice for first round on holiday and any single figure golfer should have a good chance of breaking par here off the yellows.
