First rounds of golf in Portugal and proved to be both a challenge and enjoyable round. Arrival was impressive with smooth booking in and buggy collection. Driving range was not permitting any woods so some iron practice only. Commenced round but endured slow play from two groups ahead from hole 7 onwards. Disappointing that other players are not addressing pitch marks or removing tees from tee areas, not the course fault but this was the only challenge given the heat. Some impressive holes were blind drives but fairway markers aided most. Greens were fast and two were really challenging regards landing area on Par 3. Course guide and GPS buggy aided our game. Some restricted areas and so buggy stops, could be more clearly indicated but just meant I had to engage reverse. Would love to play again and would recommend as value v challenge. Staff were friendly and ready to help without delay.
