I was able to reserve buggies on line with Boa Vista Golfe, but Pestana advised that we could only book at the course. So prior to playing Alto Golfe, we visited the club to reserve buggies. Only to be told that this could only be done on the day of playing. We asked if we could reserve buggies at any of the other Pestana course, and was told no. So in order to ensure we could get at least one buggy, we went to Alto golf course early and was told that no buggies were available.

We therefore booked electric trolleys, but one of our party has a damaged hip so wasn’t sure if they would be able to play. Luckily we asked the caddy master if we could possibly have one of the buggies that had just been returned. He told us to check at the club reception, after further discussion they allowed us to take the buggy.

I feel that Algarve golf should have given us prior warning of these issues with reservation of buggies with Pestana, which would have allowed us to book a course that would allow forward reservation of buggies.

I found that green fees where very competitive, and the tee times and dates once confirmed were registered at the various courses booked. So everything went according to plan, not always the case with other companies.

I have used Algarve Golf twice previously, and will certainly use them again on future trips to The Algarve.

We played Silves Golfe on Thursday and Vale da Pinta today. Everything went very smoothly when we arrived at both of the courses.
