A testing, yet fair course. It requires you to methodically plot your way around, especially in a Portuguese breeze. You can leave the driver in the bag for the most part as there is a premium on accuracy over length. The greens are sloping and a good test of your touch. The food and drink is more than adequate and reasonably priced. The English lady in reception was rather too officious however and didn’t have the level of hospitality I would expect from a golf club. All in all an enjoyable experience - and a decent scorecard!
